1/26 CL600 Yamada Daimler Double 6 - Motorized - 1931 Daimler Double-Six 50 Low Chassis Dropped Coupe Body by Corsica of Cricklewood

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc+

Very Rare. This stunning car is well represented by the special high-gloss box artwork. The model features motorized drive on the rear wheels, hardware, metal gearbox with nylon gears, an original FA-15 motor still in the colorful Mabuchi box, steerable front wheels, some separately molded chassis detail, full interior, optional up or down convertible top and even a sticker for a display base (base not included). Molded in tan, black, chrome and clear plastic exactly as represented in the box art to minimize painting. With rubber tires. Never started. Inside the model is exactly as it left the factory with all parts still in the factory sealed bags, which all have colorful 'Daimler' headers. Includes detailed, illustrated instructions and Yamada also included a sheet of translated English text instructions. Yamada had other cars in this fine series that are illustrated on one long side of the box. Although I cannot read the Japanese, they are kits that I have never seen made by any other manufacture and represent early autos from 1912, 1913 and 1908. The box illustrations are shown in miniature and look beautiful; from the style, they may have been painted by the artist who did this Daimler
