Very rare hardbox issue from 1970. This is a full-hull model that is motorized for operation in water. Could easily be made remote control due to today's very small and efficient systems. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. From the title and especially the description on the long box side, this kit came out shortly after the all-time classic book 'The Big E' was released. It was written by Edward P. Stafford and is considered the ultimate book on the subject of what was easily America's greatest and most successful warship. If you have not read it, I highly recommend it.
