1/72 7275 Amodel Bf-109W Floatplane - Luftwaffe Norway - (Bf109 W-O / W-1)

Limited-run injection molded model features fine recessed surface detail, good cockpit and more. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. To enable the Luftwaffe to operate from Norway, plans were made to develop a float version of the Bf109 fighter. Design work was done by Fieseler and the converted aircraft, known as Bf109W-O flew for the first time on December 23 1939. Results were successful and the decision was made to convert an additional 6 aircraft to a slightly modified Bf109W-1 version. These 6 aircraft were delivered to the Luftwaffe in June 1940 and tested operationally in Norway.
