Nice model kit from the mid 1970s. A rare model of the first steamship to ever cross the Atlantic. Well detailed and molded for that time and small scale. The scale is not given, but the sea base measures 6.5"x2" and the ship is approximately 5 inches long and the bottle is 9 inches long. Includes billowing sails, molded sea display base and finely printed rat lines on a clear plastic sheet. There is even rigging thread a cork for the bottle! Includes very good illustrated and text instructions, how to set the sails and photos for rigging. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes a correct 1818 flag sheet and instructions. Addar released and entire series of these ships in a bottle, including Flying Cloud, Charles W. Morgan, Savannah, Santa Maria, Mayflower, Revenue cutter, Constitution and Bon Homme Richard.
