Very rare 1950s first issue with dramatic hardbox illustration by Ray Gaedke (please see Ray's biography located on this website). This rare kit is loaded with action features and each prop has it's own electric motor. The base includes a special battery holder. Features crew, movable rudder, elevator and aileron control surfaces, rotating and elevating guns, retractable main and tail landing gear, rotating props and wheels and clear adjustable display stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box has very good color and gloss but has creasing and litho and cardboard damage to 1/2 of the left short side as shown.
