Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
Hard-to-find, large 1/48 scale model features weapons bay, optional position bay doors, AIM-47 missiles, detailed cockpits, dual position canopies and optional position landing gear and more. Includes markings for a natural finish, all black NASA test craft and the world record aircraft. The kit has never been started. Some parts are still in factory sealed bags. The parts that are not sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. The YF-12A was the super-secret interceptor project that lead to the SR-71 and the AWG-9/Phoenix Missile system for the F-14 Tomcat.
