The success of the Civil RWD series aircraft in sport and competition flying lead to further designs. The RWD-14 'Heron' (Czapla) was a light communications-observation aircraft. 65 were ordered, and all were delivered by February 28th, 1939. The aircraft took part in WWII by flying reconnaissance and communications missions. This is a very well molded model with fine raised detail, very fine and accurate textured surface for where the aircraft was fabric covered, cockpit detail and Polish Air Force decals.
