Features fine recessed panel lines, very good cockpit, numerous photoetched details and more. Includes markings for three aircraft. The kit has never been started. The Roc was designed from the Skua in an attempt to create a naval Defiant-style fighter that could attack from unusual angles. The type was ordered right off the drawing board, which was unfortunate. It was slower than expected due to the large turret. After seeing action over Norway and Belgium they were used in the training role with the turret removed.

First Issue dated 1968; not the common reissue from the 1990s. Well detailed with optional position landing gear, detailed cockpit, rotating propellers & wheels and more. Includes decals for KG53 Legion Condor, 7th Staffel or KG2, 7th Staffel. Both groups operated on the Russian Front in 1942. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays much better than the 'good' rating but is graded as such because there are tape and tape marks at the center of the two long sides.

1977 Revell Takara Japan issue with high-gloss box art only seen on this release. Like most of Revell Japan kits, it has special features. First, there is greatly expanded decal sheet and paint guide that covers 3 different aircraft from 1940 & (2) from 1941; there is also a section entitled 'More Modeling' which includes a paint guide for the CR-42CN from 1941 for which Revell includes some (but not all) of the decals. There is also a full color Revell Takara double-sided paint color reference guide. Also includes rigging diagram & tips.
