Very rare model from the 1960s NOTE: this kit is built and makes an ideal restoration project; please read carefully. It has been inventoried and appears to be missing only two part, the fire extinguisher and a tiny chrome center cap for one wheel. The decals are never used, complete and in amazing 'near mint' condition and the instructions are 'very good++' condition. The body is separate and assembled; quality of assembly is very good. It has never been painted. The chassis is assembled and the motor is done in the 'blower' version. Assembly is 'very good' to 'good' quality. The 'good' is due to a small amount of smeared glue on the big exhaust pipe halves and the driver has only a fair fit of his two main halves; there is nothing seriously wrong. Many parts are loose and some have come off with minor breaks; however, everything is present except the fire extinguisher and one tiny center cap.

In 1966 Hertz and Shelby teamed up to make make and rent one of the fastest rental cars of all time - the Shelby GT-350H. The cars became the stuff of legends. Want-to-be racers would rent the car Friday night, swap out rear ends and other bolt-on modifications, race them Saturday & Sunday and return the car to stock (to Hertz) on Sunday. The Hertz "Rent-A-Racer" was not financially successful due to the high maintenance costs and upkeep, but a GT-350H these days can fetch upward of $200,000. This Monogram model features detailed engine and engine compartment, opening hood, complete interior, detailed chassis with front suspension & springs, dual exhaust, rear suspension & driveline and more. Includes decals with all of the special Hertz GT-350H trim and gold stripes. Molded in black & clear with many chrome plated parts and rubber tires. Inside, the kit is as it left the factory. This XK 120 is molded in light blue and features a one-piece body (excellent for slot car conversion), windshield, chassis/underpan, steering wheel and four wheels/tires. The kit has never been started; inside it is as it left the factory. All of the colorful parts display cardboard is intact and in amazing 'near mint' condition. The small parts and motor were sealed at the factory and still are. The other larger blue parts were never factory sealed and are still held in place by the parts holder display. The chrome parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete with 'near mint+' condition plating. Includes decals in 'excellent+++' condition and instructions that are 'excellent' with the typical yellowing as the only real flaw.
