RF311 RN Models 1924 Twin Pusher - Design P.E.G. 54 - 25.25 Inch Wingspan Flight Rubber Powered Aircraft
Wood Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
Have you ever wanted to fly model airplanes like they did in the 1920s? The big Twin Pusher was all the rage across the nation because it was a very high performance design, had plenty of power, easy to build and strong. This is a very accurate reproduction of the P.E.G. 54 which was designed and built by Paul E Garber in 1924. It was successfully flown in the National Air Races that year and also in 1926. Many variants of the twin pusher were flown in competition and turned in excellent times. This kit features die-cut balsa parts, printwood, factory-cut spar and fuselage material, all metal hardware required, washers, a large amount of rubber for the twin motors and more. Includes detailed text building instructions and full-size plans. Never started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the other parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork.
