The SC1 was Great Britains first vertical take off and landing aircraft. The design has four additional engines just for takeoff and landing. The aircraft did achieve vertical take off and transition to regular flight, but proved to be quite a handful. Two were built and continued to fly until 1967, when the appearance of the HS P.1127 (Harrier Prototype) caused them to be obsolete. Highly detailed resin kit with metal details and full decals. Never started and complete.
