HP Models Kreigsmarine Pre-Dreadnought Battleship Schlesien, 1/700, G-022

Resin Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

SMS Schlesien was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the Deutschland class. Commissioned in 1908, her and her sisters were the only capital ships that Germany was allowed to keep after WWI. As a result, they were well-cared for and upgraded as much as the design would allow. She and her sister Schleswig-Holstein fired the opening shots of WWII against Poland. She was either blown up by her crew or sunk by the Soviets in 1945. Salvage took a long time and parts of the ship were reportedly visible in 1980. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, flags and instructions.
