1960s issue with vivid artwork. A pilot ejects on a pillar of flame as his stricken BAC plunges earthward trailing black smoke. Despite this dramatic scene, XM192 enjoyed in historical fact a long career with 111 and 145 Squadrons, retiring intact in 1973 to become a ground display aircraft. There is no assembly but NOTE: the pilot has been very neatly painted. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, decals and instructions.

Designed as an enhanced version of the Bf-109, the 209 witnessed many incarnations. Originally designed to use 109 components, this quickly fell by the wayside, and when the final variant (V5) flew in 1944, it was more than 30 mph slower than the current FW designs. The project was canceled and ended Messerschmitt's final bid to build a high performance piston interceptor.

The B-58 was the world's first supersonic bomber but had a short service life due to the inability of aircraft to survive high-altitude penetration in a SAM environment- incredible fuel consumption may have been a lessor factor as well. This is still the only 1/72 scale Hustler ever made and is an excellent kit. Features recessed panel lines, full cockpits, optional position canopies, "TC" Piggyback Fuel/Weapons Pods, wing mounted nuclear free-fall weapons, detailed wheel wells and excellent molding throughout.
