1954 Pre-'S' release and among Revell's very earliest ship models. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and it includes all plastic , color flag sheet and instructions. NOTE: missing decals. NOTE: the instructions have the parts ordering slip cut out and missing. This does not interfere with assembly.

Fantastic kit from the 1950s in an 'excellent' condition box. The classic artwork shows the Nike Ajax blowing up what appears to be a B-17 over an American city. Judging from the fiery blast from the launching Ajax in the background, these two ground crew may not make it away from this missile in time. This is an excellent model for that time that still rates well today. It features detailed missile with separating stages, operating control surfaces, operating launcher and more. The launcher is designed to connect other models to form an entire Nike Ajax Battery for the ultimate diorama. Molded in olive drab and white. The model has never been started. The white plastic parts and decals are still factory sealed; the olive drab parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions.

This is one of Renewal's famous Aeroskin kits in a rare 1/48 release that features markings for the aircraft of the famous Lanoe Hawker and very realistic artwork of the last moments of Lanoe's final battle with the Red Baron. The model has an injection molded inner structure of ribs and stringers like a real aircraft, then the modeler covers it with provided authentic pre-colored Aeroskin fabric. There is no painting needed as elaborate finishes are printed directly on the Aeroskin covering. This results a very realistic and colorful model. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes Aeroskin and instructions. Aeroskin is in superb 'near mint' condition. There is no glue included, but any brush-one liquid cement (like Tamiya) will work for attaching the Aeroskin to the plastic parts.

Early issue from the 1960s before Nichimo used part numbers. It is part of a unique and very successful 1/500 scale warship series with rare glossy box art from the 'Golden Age' of Japanese model kit illustrations. The model can be built motorized for operation in water or static full hull or waterline versions. It is very well detailed and molded for that time. Includes all hardware for motorizing with metal gear box for duel-propeller drive, brass batter contacts and switch, wire, threaded steel propeller shafts, universal joints and more, one piece lower hull (molded in an excellent simulation of IJN Hull Red), one piece upper hull (molded in gray), detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, some finer details in black plastic and more. Never started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags with the Nichimo paper headers. The hardware has been inventoried complete. Includes instructions and even the original silver and gold foil covered cardboard nameplate for display. Please note that Nichimo did not furnish decals or the electric motor with these early issues.

Rare 1956 first issue. The box is complete and has 'good' color, four original solid corneres, no price tags or tag marks and no tape (other than the factory sealing tape). However, there is a fair amount of even, moderate age foxing on the top and all four sides. Highly detailed set includes both kits - the High Speed Tractor and the Long Tom 155mm gun. Has many working features - the tractor has movable tracks and working bogies, rotating and elevating machine gun, driver and interior details. The gun can be stowed for transport with the M-4 and all extra gear to do this correctly is supplied. The Long Tom features and elevating barrel, moving limbers and detailed mechanism. NOTE: this kit has minor and very neatly done assembly to 8 pieces as described: gun barrel halves assembled and puttied; recoil mechanism halves assembled and puttied; gun carried halves assembled and puttied; two wheels halves assembled. There is no other assembly. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Instructions and decals are both correct and in 'very good++' condition; the only flaw on the decals is typical age yellowing. NOTE: one piece has 'SNAP' engraved on the bottom so that part is clearly from the SNAP issue of this same kit. All other parts look to be Revell, as they are the correct shade of green plastic, correct sheen, part numbers, silver flexible tracks, etc., but pf course there is no way to 100% confirm that.

1967 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of the kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box - in this case the exact car was on display at the Auto Aviation Museum under the directorship of Mrs. Philip L. Sommerlad of the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland, OH. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated parts, colored injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet.' Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

From 1965 and one of the famous ships from Pyro's very popular 'Round The World' boat collection. This full hull model measures 9 inches long when assembled and features a engraved woodgrain and copper plate detail, fine wood grained deck with hatches and other fittings, separately molded deck houses, ships boats, masts and ratlines, billowing sails and more. Includes a display stand. Molded in a beautiful gloss wood brown and white plastic. The kit has never been started. The white parts are still in the factory sealed bag; all other parts are inventoried complete including instructions. This is one of the 'intermediate' line of Pyro ship kits, which were first called '$1.00 Models' and in 1967 were renamed '$1.25 Models.' All were roughly the same size and were a significant increase in detail from the '50 Cent Models.' (later called 74 cent models). Kits in the $1.00/$1.25 line (by 1967) included the Skipjack, Cutty Sark, Charles W. Morgan, HMS Bounty, HMS Ark Royal, USS Constellation, British Bomb Ketch, Chinese War Junk, Elsie - Gloucester Fisherman, Henri Grace A'Dieu, Dutch Staten Jacht, Gotta Le Jon and others. 50 Cent/75 Cent kits in 1967 included the Mayflower, Barbary Pirate, USS Constitution, Santa Maria, Golden Hind, Half Moon, Bon Homme Richard, Brig of War, HMS Victory, Flying Cloud, Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria, La Reale French Galley, Venetian Carrack, Roman Merchant, Spanish Galeon and others.

1973 Mattel/Monogram issue with markings for the 'High Hat' Squadron from CV-3 Saratoga in the 1930s. Very finely molded and detailed in the Monogram tradition. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

This kit came from the collection of one of Monogram's finest and talented Chief Designers, the man who created the original B-52 kit, B-17, B-24J, P-36A, P-39 Airacobra, P-61 Black Widow, DH Mosquito, at least one if not all of the 1/8 scale Ford cars, A-1E Skyraider and numerous other famous kits. In his collection were boxes (usually Four-Star armor that had been damaged on the box-assembly machine) labeled 'TEST SHOTS' and some with his name on it. After designing the model, he was still responsible for the entire program, at least up to the point of mass production. Test Shots were made near the end of the design process for the Chief Designer of that kit to inspect; if something was wrong, he ordered changed. If not, he would clear the kit for production. Test Shots were usually made in whatever plastic was loaded into the silo at the time and in some cases reground plastic (from defects) was even used. This is one of those kits. Ever notice that all Monogram FW190s are always molded in green and black? Well, not in this case! This test shot is molded with many small parts in a startling white with a black swirl, black, clear and green. This is a pre-first issue. It has never been started. The model is inventoried with all parts and instruction present. The instructions may have come with the test shot for his approval or they may have been added later. I have included them because they were in the same 'TEST SHOT' box as the kit.
