1994 reissue using the original box art. Made from the original molds for the 'S' kit from 1956. Very well detailed and nicely molded. Features deck guns, all masts and booms, barges and landing craft and full decals. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals, flags and instructions. The USS Randall was on of 57 Haskell Class Attack Transports built for service in and immediately after WWII. The ships were designed to carry troops close to the beachheads, transfer them to landing barges (carried on board) and to supervise the landing operations. Her length was 455 feet and she could handle 1,560 troops and carry 3000 tons of equipment. Through her colorful career she earned many awards. She had to tours in the Pacific including Iwo Jima and Okinawa. After the war she took part in 'Magic Carpet'. Her Hollywood career was in the movie 'Away All Boats' in which she played the Belinda'.

Dated 1975. One of Revell's finest early ships. It is from the original 'S' kits molds, which are a tribute to the research and skill of the mold maker. Beautiful full-hull model features finely engraved planking and plate detail, rotating main turrets and elevating guns, full secondary armament of 5", 1.1" and ten 5" casemate guns, complete deck fittings with searchlights, motor launches and whaleboats, range finders, ladders, cranes, masts and observations nests, two catapults with Vought O2U Biplanes, display stand and flags and decals for the ship and float planes. On his second sailing, Prien made history by sailing into the British Base of Scapa Flow and sinking HMS Royal Oak. Prien and his men survived 11 sailings but were lost on the 12th.

Rare. The 'Whip Fly' release is based on the 1950s Yak-25 Flashlight "S" kit and comes with a Model Master Stamp for this kit, USSR decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, streamers for the jet engines and a underside pod which is an in-flight whistle! Never started. The ballast, control line and metal ring and 'streamers' (see below) are still factory sealed. All other parts have been inventoried complete including 'near mint' condition trading stamp, decals and instructions. NOTE: the instructions tell you to cut the streamers from the plastic bag that contains the ballast, control line and ring. Normally, this bag is printed with an orange strip to add color to the streamers. This bag is present, sealed and intact but missed the 'color stripe' machine! The complete Whip-Fly series includes H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra, H156 F-101A Voodoo, Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home near groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

This is the 1982 reissue of the classic 1950s "S" kit. Features Regulus II Cruise Missile with hanger and removable hatch, nuclear reactor, helicopter, Terrier Missiles & tracking radar, Talos Missiles with tracking radar, detailed superstructure, lifeboat and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. CGN-9 U.S.S. LONGBEACH was the worlds first nuclear-powered warship. She was launched in July of 1959 as the lead ship of the first new cruiser class since WWII. Originally designed as an all-missile cruiser, she was later fitted with two 5"/36 caliber guns amidships. After serving more than 33 years, she was decommissioned on 1 May 1995.

This is an excellent model that is well detailed for that time and features featuring full hull (not waterline), detailed deck and superstructure, full sensor suite, separately molded and moving main armament, Terrier missiles, launcher and directors and much more. Never started. Inside, it is as it left the factory. The small parts are still sealed in the internal clear bag; the large parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete and includes the correct large-format flag sheet, decals and instructions. The USS Boston, originally CA-69 (Baltimore Class Heavy Cruiser) was converted to the world's first Guided Missile Cruiser in 1952.
