SALE!! Includes two models in one box. Ideal builder kits, please read carefully for the condition. NOTE: these models have 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: Kit #1: intake panel to one nacelle side; seats to floor; rudder halves; elevator halves; sponson halves. There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Kit #2: same as kit #1 plus wing halves built. There is no other assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing cockpit floor, (2) seats, instrument panel and control sticks. Otherwise complete and includes decals and instructions. Nicely detailed model from 1979 that includes parts for all versions - civil Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Service 1938 and two Luftwaffe aircraft. Includes color painting guide (on the back of the box and decals for all three also. Lufthansa was a pioneer in trans-oceanic mail services and the Do-15 and Do-18 grew to fit this need. Given the German interests in South America, it was no surprise that they established one of the first airmail services between Europe and that continent. This kit will build one of those aircraft, the Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Aircraft (1938) D-AANE 'Zyklon' or the military version. The Do-18 was an improved D0-15 'Wal' and set several records during its long useful life.

1979 issue of this large and well detailed model. Can build the RAF land-based primary trainer, the float version or the one with skis. Features highly detailed engine, full cockpit detail, pilot figures and more. Includes markings for all three aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) of (2) small inner "N" shaped struts and (1) of (2) horizontal stabilizer braces. Both parts can be easily made if you have scratch building skills.
