The Darracq was designed and built when France was the international center of motor vehicle excellence. While Britain, American and Germany either rejected the motorcar, showed indifference or activly fought to eliminate it, the French accepted it with open arms. As a result, the Darracq and other fine designs were the best automobiles in the world. The model is from 1975 and is a nicely molded kit of this successful early gasoline powered automobile. Original issue from 1979 from the world-famous Twentieth Century Fox movie. Very large scale model that measures over 18 inches long when assembled. Detailed cockpit and rear jets are illuminated. Seated figures of Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and Han Solo are included. The radar antenna and laser cannons tilt and swivel. The laser cannons are also illuminated. The cargo ramp opens and closes and the landing gear can be displayed or stowed to 'in-flight' mode. Molded in gray, clear and with metal parts and very small light bulbs. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the internal factory sealed bags and the parts never factory sealed (clear parts) have been inventoried complete including instructions.

1983 issue tied into the release of this famous movie. The model is 7 inches long when built and features rotating cockpit with pilot, folding cross wings and excellent surface detail. Includes a clear display stand. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays better than the 'very good++' rating but is graded as such because there are two short pieces of masking tape on the box - one each on the long upper and lower sides. Easily removed if soak them in lighter fluid first.

Rare and even more so in this condition. Features full race car build chassis, lift off body, detailed engine, full cockpit, detailed suspension, opening hood, extensive decals and more. Molded in blue, black, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. All the parts that were factory sealed (the vast majority) are still in factory sealed bags. The chrome, clear and tires are the only parts that were never factory sealed and they have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions and decals in 'excellent+' condition.

In the 1970s, MPC released the very popular Profile Series. Inside each box was a quality Airfix kit but with MPC decals to build any of the aircraft shown on the box top. In this case there are decals for four aircraft. This is a well detailed model that features a great deal of interior and all crew stations, opening bomb bay doors, full bomb bay detail, complete weapons load, moving ailerons, elevators & rudder, optional position landing gear and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition which is very rare for these 1970s MPC kits. But before you use any older decals, please read the two articles (on this website) about saving and also reproducing old decals.
