Very large 1970s first issue of this 1/35 scale model. Highly detailed and features 346 pieces, 10 figures (pilot and commandos), well detailed cockpit, rotor hub & passenger interior, opening rear cargo door, complete engine exhaust system, opening side doors, crew boarding ladder, decals for both versions and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Includes Airmodel #178 FJ-4 Conversion kit in vacuformed white plastic. It is complete with all parts and instructions. However, someone did us a great favor by cutting out all the parts, sanding them and fitting them together to 'professional' quality. The base kit is the 1970s Heller 'Black Box' issue. Nicely molded. Features very fine raised panel lines and recessed control surface outlines, cockpit detail, two piece canopy, drop tank, realistic blocked off inlets and exhaust and optional position speed brakes with detailed brake wells. Has markings for Luftwaffe 2nd Staffel Jagdgeschwader 71 'Richthofen' 1958 or Marine 51st Sq, John Glenn's aircraft from 1953. NOTE: this kit has minor and very neat sub-assembly as follows: intake halves; wing halves. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts including decals and instructions.
