Features a completely shaped and sanded hardwood hull with predrilled mast, bowsprit, anchor chain and pedestal mounting holes, finished wood display stand, finished and painted stand pedestals and mounting nails, a large sheet of heavy cardboard with dozens of completely cut and finished and numbered hardwood parts held on with string, a factory sealed bag of fully finished fittings of metal, wood and plastic, numerous other hardwood parts completely cut to shape and numbered, deadeyes and blocks, paint and glue, wood stock as required and a complete set of sewn, ready-to-install cloth sails, black and white standing and running rigging thread, instructions in English and a full size plan sheet with many views, complete part identifications by number and excellent rigging diagrams. The kit has never been started. All the small parts are still in the factory sealed bags or factory-tied to the display piece. Only the hull was not factory sealed. This is the one-and-only issue of the TV Orbiter that is part of the famous Willy Ley space series that Monogram made with the noted scientist and designer in 1959. Features three stage reconnaissance rocket with base, launcher, service tower, television nose cone, separating stages and three figures. It is molded in the correct red and Good Humor 'Creamsicle' orange. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition as are the instructions. Even the original TV Orbiter booklet is present. Please note that the box displays 'Excellent++' but is graded as 'Excellent' because there is a crease on the lower short side panel.

Large 1/50 scale Etendard IV. Nicely molded older kit features fine raised panel detail, cockpit, folding wings, working arresting gear, optional position landing gear and speed brakes and real rubber tires. Includes drop tanks and underwing weapons as well. This is the second issue of the very rare 'operating kit' of the Etendard IV. The original issue had automatic speed brakes and retractable landing gear. The model used a complex series of 6 cogs and gears with wire springs and twine to make functioning landing gear and speed brakes. When you lowered the arresting (tail) hook, the landing gear doors opened and the nose and main wheels extended. When you raised the arresting hook, the landing gear retracted and the doors closed. Furthermore, when you pulled out the parachute release at the tail, the speed brakes lowered. When you closed it, the speed brakes closed. Please note that although this model is from those molds, it does not have those action features - only the ones that I listed. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'Excellent++' condition but the instructions have bug damage, mainly along the folds and edges. They are still perfectly useful for assembly purposes.

Very rare and especially so in this condition. This wooden model ship is dated 1950 and measures 18 inches long when assembled. It is certainly one of Ideal's most detailed efforts and features a beautiful pre-carved balsa wood hull, quality printwood parts, wood stock as required, one large factory-sealed bag of cast metal fittings and another smaller factory-sealed bag of more metal fittings, sail cloth, printed cardstock superstructure sides, a full color flag sheet as well as highly detailed three-view plans with hull cross sections, numerous superb detail drawings, very good instructions with additional building illustrations, full rigging diagram and sail details. The model has never been started. Most small parts are still in the factory sealed bags; the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork.

The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

Features over 190 laser cut hardwood (basswood, birch and plywood) parts, over 200 Britannia metal, copper, aluminum, steel, brass and rubber parts and over 50 Britannia metal castings for the Gnome-Rhone Type 9N rotary engine complete with all cylinders, distributor, spark plugs and crankcase. Details other than the engine (which is a kit to itself) include turnbuckles, guy wires, compression bar, pulleys, wire support brackets, struts, flight instruments, tires and much more. Includes three sheets of full size plans and very detailed instructions. Completed wingspan is 20 inches. Never started.
