The Bottom and Spray Rails have been fiberglassed; the total weight per pair which includes spruce spars and fly plywood attachment tabs is 8 ounces. Capacity is up to 5.5 pounds. NOTE: this kit came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box. It will ship in that box wrapped in thick brown paper.
