Original first issue 'Pre-S' kit from 1954 and before the 'S' Cement logo was used. The box has classic 'Flying Dragon' Richard Kishady artwork. Features rotating turrets and propellers, pilot, copilot and bomber figures and "The Flying Dragon" decals. Correctly molded in gloss olive drab and clear and includes the famous Revell Swivel 'Globe' base. Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: one part, the very small nose door, is a slightly different color plastic.

Nicely detailed with very fine recessed panel lines, good cockpit and more. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Flagon M was a modification of a standard Su-15 with R13-300 engines and the new 'Typhoon M' radar. Wings and landing gear were also changed. The tests took place in 1969 and were very successful; the type became one of the main fighter-interceptors in the 1970s/80s.

1973 White Box reissue of the famous 'Four Star' kit from 1963. Still factory sealed. This 19 inch wingspan kit is designed for free flight with 'easy conversion to control line or R/C flying.' Includes an innovative system for automatically dropping 'propaganda leaflets' in flight. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they featured color decals, high-grade die cut balsa, vacuform plastic detail parts, plastic wheels (if required), finished wire landing gear, rubber motor and plastic prop, full size plans with instruction details and full instructions for conversion to RC or control line.

Please note that this aircraft had no markings, so Amodel did not provide decals. N.I. Kamov and N.K. Skrzhinsky built KASKR-1, the first Soviet autogyro, which made it's first flight on September 25, 1929. Soon afterwards they built an improved model, the KASKR-2 in 1930. Both designs were successful and a total of 79 flights were made by both aircraft between 1929 and 1931.
