Rare first issue hardbox from 1958 and not the common reissue. It is the finest example I have ever seen with the box top is in amazing, investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition with factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no creases, stains or tears, no missing litho, and no price tags or tag marks and no tape or tape marks (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The only flaws are very light and isolated corner and edge wear. Features firing arm with working piston and cylinder, movable wheels, tow bar and detailed crew figures. Molded in the correct gloss gray and white. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Rare 1957 original 'S' issue with fantastic artwork. Very nicely detailed model includes drop tanks, strap on boosters, base, launcher and crew of two. Molded in the correct gloss red. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The decals and instructions are both in remarkable 'excellent++' condition. The box is in only in 'good-' condition due to wear and creases. It displays well but is not in collectible condition.

Hard-to-find 1969 three-color plastic soft box issue that includes the 'Everything Is Go' story booklet. The parts are molded in the correct gray, silver and yellow. Includes the 'Everything Is Go' booklet telling the story of the Friendship 7/Lt. Col. Glenn Flight. This kit was modified from the Atlas Ballistic Missile molds. It is the single greatest model kit for the Mercury Atlas program. Contains highly detailed Atlas/Mercury, launching pad, ramp, tractor transports, nitrogen tank and trailer & much more. It features the Corporal Missile and a highly detailed transporter-erector/launcher with numerous working features. One of the 'Holy Grails' of 1950s Space Kits and in great condition inside and out. This is the 1957 first and only issue 'S' Kit with fantastic box art. The molds were reportedly damaged beyond use, which makes reissues impossible. The spaceship was designed by the rocket scientist Ellwyn E. Angle of Systems Laboratories Inc. Features detailed manned top stage with full interior, removable top, opening hatch, spaceship and ground crew members and detailed working launch pad. The main stages and boosters snap apart to recreate all phases of the flight from Earth takeoff, Lunar Landing and Return to Earth. The included 'XSL-01 Operations Manual' outlines in words and illustrations each phase of the spaceship's trip. Molded in the correct gloss orange, silver, gloss metallic blue and clear. Never started. All internal factory cardboard presentation material is present and excellent. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The decals are perfectly flat, 100% intact and graded 'excellent++' with very light age yellowing as the only flaw. The Operations Manual booklet is in 'excellent' condition. The instructions are graded 'Very Good+' only because a previous owner marked off the part numbers as he inventoried the kit; other than that, they are fine. The box is graded 'very good' and features factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, fading or stains, no price tags or marks from price tags. Flaws include light creases as shown on the two lower corners, light surface wear (mainly to the right of "Space Ship" as shown) and a 1" x 1/2" tape tear on the right long side. Shipping insurance is required on this kit.

Still factory sealed. This very rare Lodela issue is the only Revell kit to include both rockets. The outside of the box lists the kits as 1/110 scale, but the US Army Redstone is usually listed as 1/110 scale and the Jupiter C as 1/100 scale. This is a special edition celebrating the 30th year of Lodela / Revell. One long box side has a very color dispaly advertising Lodela plastic model cemtn and Lodela 'Pinturas' model paints in a box set.

1961 USA issue hardbox in 'excellent+' condition. Color and gloss are as new and all four corners are solid. Very light general wear and marks from old clear tape (that has fallen off due to age) are the only flaw. This is a wonderful kit that is from the same molds as the 'S' issue, so it makes an ideal builder also. Model features has movable vertical fin and dive brakes, removable rocket engine, hinged landing skids and removable canopy. Never started. Hard to find kit from the 1982 History Maker's series which includes the 3" diameter 'NASA GEMINI II' jacket patch. This is a very nicely detailed kit of this historic spacecraft. Large scale (1/24) model features full interior, detachable equipment module with internal details including oxygen supply, fuel cells, batteries, electronics and more. The kit has not been started. The plastic parts are inventoried complete and includes instructions and the excellent 'Gemini Program' booklet. NOTE: Missing decals. The box has a water stain on the left side as shown and it extends down the left short side.

The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The scale is listed as 1/48 in all of my source material, but Revell listed it as 1/54 in 2011 reissue.
