This is a beautifully made conversion kit featuring all high-definition resin parts including a complete note, radiator, exhaust, propeller and more as well as a full color paint guide and a large, colorful decal sheet. Decals are for HA-1112 Flight Experimental Squadron Torrejon de Ardoz Air Base, Madrid, 1957, HA-1109K.1L also of the Spanish Air Force and Luftwaffe markings from Yellow 14 from the Movie Der Stern von Afrika (Star of Afrika) 1956. Never started. The parts are all still internally factory sealed. Includes all paperwork and decals in 'mint' condition. Please note, this is a conversion kit only. It requires a base kit to complete; SBS recommends the Tamiya 1/48 model.

Early issued dated 1965 and known for superior mold quality. This early issue has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline - the copper paint is in amazing 'near mint' condition. Large scale and highly detailed kit measures over three feet long when assembled and is considered the finest plastic kit ever of the most famous American Frigate. Features over 1,100 parts, full deck detail, captain's quarters complete with interior bulkheads, table and bunks, lifeboats with oars, 55 detailed cannon, lower gun deck & detail, standing and running rigging thread, pre-formed ratlines, full instructions for assembly, large, fold-out instructions, fold-out diagrams for standing & running rigging, 20 crew in action poses, flag sheet and more. Large-scale, well detailed kit and one of the harder Guillow's kits to find. Can be flown rubber free flight, gas free flight, or converted to electric RC using modern small, light servos and receivers. Well detailed with scale plastic wheels, plastic propeller, vacuform nose/cowl and engine, full color decals, colored tissue, die cut balsa parts, rubber motor, plywood firewall and excellent full size plans. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.

Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: 1/3 of the decal sheet has a stain. While these decals are complete and intact, be prepared to furnish your own decals if you are building this kit. Please note that the box top displays better than the 'fair+' rating but is graded as such because the lower long side panel has a missing 3/5" x 3" section where the 'Golden Tokens' were removed.

Still factory sealed; the seal has shrunk and drawn the box top concave as shown. Hard-to-find kit of the Dutch Trainer in a large near 1/48 scale. Dependable, sturdy, and reportedly docile, this primary trainer was developed soon after WW II. According to one source the design concept was created during the German Occupation of the Low Countries. The S-11 was successful and exported to Brazil, Bolivia, Israel, Italy and Paraguay Some examples manufactured under license in Brazil (including a tricycle gear version) and Italy. Several examples were reported in civilian registration in the state of Georgia & aerobatic use as recently as 2017.

UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
