Airfix Golden Hind Sir Francis Drake's Ship, 09258-4

Still factory sealed. Dated 1977. Large scale model of Sir Francis Drake's English galleon that is famous for its circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580. The ship was originally named Pelican, but Drake re-named her in mid-voyage 1577 just before entering the Strait of Magellan. The name 'Golden Hind' was a compliment to his patron of the voyage, Sir Christopher Hatton. Hatton's family coat of arms was a golden female deer (hind). Well detailed kit with over 100 parts and is 18 inches long when assembled. Features fully detailed decks, 12 hull mounted cannons, 4 cannons and carriages, 5 crew figures, pre-formed rat lines, 6 pre-formed sails, full color flag sheet, display stand and nameplate, full instructions and rigging diagram.

Still factory sealed. - US Airfix issue. Very nicely molded kit for it's time. The Widgeon saw WWII service as a Coast Gurad transport, trainer and recon aircraft. Before the war, the Widgeon was active in it's original design purpose - as a luxury sport airplane and executive transport amphibian.

1970s issue. Includes optional parts and decals to build F4B from VF-74 USS Forrestal, F4C US Air Force, F4D USAF, F4E Israeli Air Force or F4J of VF-31 USS Saratoga. Underwing stores include gun pods, fuel tanks, iron bombs, and AIM-7 Sparrow missiles. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: box has moisture damage to one short side. The kit inside is 'excellent' however. Decals look 'excellent' but you should be prepared to use your own decals since moisture was present at some point in the past.

Still factory sealed. Wide 'White' box 1960s issue with white side panels. Action-packed artwork shows part of a box of B-24s at the moment of 'Bombs Away!' Guns blaze at attacking fighters while flak burst close in. One B-24 is going down with the starboard wing in flames. Nice kit featuring moving turrets and elevating guns, movable control surfaces, retracting landing gear, rotating props and optional position crew entry door and ladder.

Still factory sealed. A well-holed and damaged FW makes a hasty power-off landing in this great box art. The emergency vehicles race down the runway ready to douse the flaming engine. The pilot has the canopy open to clear the smoke or to make a hasty exit…or both. This is the larger format box version of this kit. The smaller box is kit # 6-39.

Well molded kit features full interior with crew, optional position canopy, pivoting rear gun, working arresting hood and center line and wing bomb loads. Decals are for high-vis markings (red dot in the stars and bars) and later wartime markings. Molded in dark blue and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Also includes decals for Belgian Air Force.
