This is the prototype of the Me-163B Komet. The Me-163A was derived from Dr. Lippisch DFS tail-less gliders. These were seen as ideal platforms for the new rocket engines being developed. Tail-less DFS designed continued to fly, but now with pusher propeller engines installed. All went well, so the DFS team was moved to Messerschmitt to build the 163A. After gliding test, powered test were held in which new airspeed records were set. Work quickly moved to the production Me-163B Komet. Still factory sealed.

Rare early issue from the 1950s with dramatic Ray Gaedke artwork. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955. Comes with boarding ladder. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. 1954 Pre-S hardbox second issue. The box has factory-new color and gloss, four solid original corners, no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (it missed the factory tape sealing machine) and no fading, stains or tears. It does have general light wear as shown, particularly at the left lower corner and lower edge. The second issue has a slightly taller box, 4 piece stand (base, arm, arm clamp and metal ring) and revised instructions. Molded in the correct silver and clear. Never started. Inside, it is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still in the clear factory sealed bag. The ones that were never sealed have been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Even the rare Revell 'thick paper towel' original packing material is present.

1958 first issue 'S' hardbox with the dramatic box art that Revell was famous for. Not the common reissue. The box top displays almost "near mint" but is graded only 'good-' because there are multiple tape tears on the short and long sides. Has movable firing arm with working piston and cylinder, movable wheels, tow bar and detailed crew figures. Molded in the correct gloss gray and white. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing the small rocket nozzle. Otherwise complete with all other parts, "excellent++" condition decals and instructions.

Dated 1954. This is the finest H4 Liberator that I have seen. The box has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and only light general wear. The inside is like new also. Classic early multi-media kit with a fantastic internal box presentation. Before injection molded plastic kits were common, Monogram issued the famous 'Speedee-Bilt' and 'Super Kits' which featured injection molded details and precarved wooden parts. Of these, the Speedee-Bilt B-24 and B-17 were the finest. These kits are rare today due to their relatively high original price of $4.95. This example is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, glue, dope, decals, sand paper, plans and instruction book. The kit has never been started. Still has all internal packing as shown. Amazingly, the celluloid plastic parts range from no warping to very slight warping. This is very rare, as that type of plastic was unstable and warped easily over time. Instructions, decals and plans are 'near mint' also, as are the parts sheets. No wooden parts have been punched out. This kit must be shipped insured.

The visual effect of the SAC 'Anti-Nuclear Flash White' is shown well in the box art and includes decals and paint guide to make this aircraft or the camouflage version. Contains 207 parts and is nicely detailed. Features crew of three, detailed cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, and optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The bigger parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Includes both promos. Original dealer models are in 'good' condition. The bodies have typical warping as shown but display well; the worst warp is at the left lower rocker panel of the Chevy as shown. These are rollers and do not have friction drive (the drives were removed at some point). Factory plastic color is original but both have general wear and age foxing as shown. The clear on both is 'very good++' but can use cleaning. The tires are almost like new - if it was played with, it was not for long. No parts are missing and they are original except that the rear sign and some of the fine trim (door handles, trim, etc) has been correctly and very neatly adult painted. The quality is good enough to pass for factory paint.
