The box has four solid corners and perfect color and gloss; the only flaws are very light general wear and a scuff & light crease on the lower long side. This was an excellent kit for that time and superior to the Aurora offering; the Lindberg model features a detailed engine with removable cowling, dual cockpit with instrument panels, rudder pedals, seats & control sticks, control horns & king posts, wheel chocks, full cockpit, two pilots, ground crewman, aircraft tail dolly and an illustrated rigging diagram on the back of the instructions. Still factory sealed but the seal is brittle and has numerous splits. This model is one of a very popular and collectible series that Hubley issue in the 1960s or early '70s It is very well detailed with 143 pieces and features highly detailed cast-metal body, chassis, hood, engine and other detail parts with injection molded details, clear parts, and a large tree of chrome plated parts, full rolling chassis build-up just like the real car with excellent engine detail, removable hood, complete exhaust and suspension, working steering, flexible radiator hoses, rubber tires, chrome spoke wheels, working worm-gear steering, full interior detail with very clear thin windshields and special interior side panels. In the 1930s Packard was the style leader in America and a beautiful, fast status symbol. Packards were not the most expensive, but were the most desired cars. The 1930s Packards are seen as the high point of the brand.

Very highly detailed, high-definition resin cast model kit. Features very fine recessed panel lines, good cockpit, gear wells and more. Never started and all parts but the fuselage halves are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. In early 1946, USAAF issued requirement for a new attack bomber to succeed the Douglas A-26 Invader. The Martin Company entered the competition and won; the aircraft was given the designation XA-45. Soon later USAAF revised its requirement for better close-support bombing. Martin accepted the new requirement and received a contract for two prototypes; the project was redesignated XB-51. The first XB-51 made its 1st flight on Oct 1949 and became the fastest ground support bomber at that time. In 1950, with the outbreak of the Korean War, the USAF called for a new night intruder bomber. The XB-51 and English Electric Canberra entered in competition. The XB-51 was faster but the Canberra had much better endurance. After a fly-off in 1951, the Canberra was chosen as the winner. In 1952 the XB-51 project was canceled. Although Martin lost the XB-51 order, they received a license to produce the Canberra under designation B-57.

Formerly released as the Midget Mustang. Scale flying rubber powered wooden model. Before there were plastic models, there were wooden aircraft kits. These usually came in two types - solid and stick and tissue. The solid models were static and usually contained a few blocks of balsa and sometimes a detail part or two. These "Make Wood Look Like Plane" models required a very high level of skill in carving and finishing. The stick and tissue variety were slightly easier to build and provided the ultimate thrill - they could fly when complete with rubber power (and later with free-flight gas and eventually RC). They still required a great deal of skill, so manufacturers sought ways to make model building more accessible to everyone. One idea was pre-carving and/or prefabrication. This raised prices, naturally. Many manufacturers launched lines of 'easy' to build flying models but only Monogram succeeded in making an entire line at an affordable price that would actual fly. The original "Speedee-Bilt" kits were in one-piece two-color boxes. In the early 1950s, shortly before plastic kits were available, Monogram changed to the 'hardbox' with a lithographic slick glued to the top as this kit. Speedee-Bilt kits contained die cut and pre painted wooden parts, completely formed airfoil wings, carved wheels and numerous plastic details like cowlings, pilot, missiles, prop and more. Assembly was by detailed full size plans. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present
