SALE!! First issue hardbox is dated 1957 and has great Jo Kotula artwork. Please note the 69 cent price extension, oval 'Famous Fighters' logo with the sunburst and NO Parents' Magazine seal at the middle right. Molded in correct high-gloss olive drab and black plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please NOTE that there is adult pencil writing (paint color notes) on the instructions.

First issue from 1959 with fantastic Jo Kotula artwork, FF logo and Parents' Magazine Seal on the lower right. Please note that this box exists in two versions; one with the PM seal at the extreme lower right and one with it an inch or so to the left. A nice kit of the dreaded 'Flying Razor' of WWI. The D-VIII had what it took to turn the tide in the air, but was introduced too late and in too few numbers to make a significant difference. Molded in a metallic high-gloss green and black plastics. Kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Dated 1961 but because of the non-Famous Fighters and no Northern Lights logo, this kit is from more around 1965. Features movable control surfaces, full cockpit, pilot and navigator and very good detail for that time. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions.

Dated 1956 with Jim Cox box art. Please note that with the 'Famous Fighters' oval logo and NO Parents' Magazine Seal, this kit was actually from 1957. It was only issued one year like that, as in 58/59 it had the PMS and then a price increase. Molded in a fantastic gloss metallic burgundy and black plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Unusual issue copyright 1959 but actually from 1963-65. Please note, it has the early 79 cent price extension but with a non-famous fighters logo. The box has like new color and gloss and four solid corners, but the seal drew the box slightly concave. There are no tape or price tags, no fading and no stains. It is molded in that fantastic bright yellow and clear, the the clear triangle 'world' base stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are 'near mint' and flat and instructions are also 'near mint.'

Still factory sealed. Second issue from 1966 of the classic 'Four Star' kit. This Blue Box release has 'PA' code and price extension and predates the association with Mattel. Very highly detailed and well molded kit. Builds any of four versions including 2-Seat Night Fighter, day fighter, 'Droop Snoot' with bomber nose and F5 photo recon version.

Still factory sealed and in 'near mint' condition. This is likely the second issue and is dated 1967 with great art by Locher. It has the Mattel logo on the box top and all four sides. Very high quality model for that time that builds up beautifully. Features full cockpit with sliding canopy, instrument panel, detailed pilot, seat, stick, gun sight and headrest. Includes two wing mounted 500 lb bombs and detailed wheel wells. Has markings for Gabreski's aircraft and RAF 81 Sq.

Still factory sealed an in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. Dated 1967. For some reason, the Blue Box issue is harder to find than the earlier Four Star and late White Box. From the original molds. Kit features rotating wheels and propellers, side gun packs and cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, underwing rockets and boarding ladder. It is normally molded in gloss silver and clear and has the "Sh-Boom" early issue style decals.
