Rare second issue dated 1969; not the common modern reissue. This is a wonderful and fun kit with machine guns, two skeletons, detailed engine and interior, removable hood and more. The box is intact and has four solid corners, but is simply dirty/discolored. Decals and instructions are in 'excellent' condition.

Very rare model from 1958. One and only issue of the large F-102 with all the ground equipment and crew shown on the front cover. Unique kit features landing gear and flaps that retract and extend when canopy is opened and closed, removable rear fuselage section and detailed removable jet engine, movable control surfaces, opening weapons bay with Falcon missiles and more. The F-102 is molded in silver and clear while the ground equipment is molded in bright yellow. The kit has never been started. The ground equipment is still sealed in the factory bag, while the F-102 has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts. The two correct decal sheets are perfectly flat and in 'very good++' condition. Both correct instruction sheets are present and in 'excellent++' condition. The box has very good color and gloss but is rated 'good++' because of light to all-around moderate general wear. The box tray (lower box) is 'very good++.' Please note that this kit must be shipped insured.

Dated 1958 with fantastic Jo Kotula artwork; however, the lack of 'Famous Fighters' in the oval boarder logo means that this kit is from the early 1960s. The box is in amazing 'near mint' investment-grade condition with factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no creases, price tags or fading and no tape or even tape marks. The only flaw is very light wear, mainly along the right upper side as shown. Molded in a wonderful gloss dark green and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Instructions and decals are both in remarkable 'excellent++' condition.

U-99 was one of the most active and successful early boats under the command of Otto Kretschmer. She survived 7 active patrols but was sunk on the 8th patrol on March 17, 1941. 40 of the crew survived the sinking, including Kretschmer, who accounted for the greatest tonnage of shipping sunk by any commander in WWII.

Please note, the box displays slightly better than the 'very good' grade but is rated as such because there is a 1" x 1/2" tape tear on the right short side.
