From 1956 - the first and only issue of this rare holiday season gift set. Contains an the A-4D Skyhawk and HRS-1 Helicopter, both with US Marine markings. Also includes a large (5.25 inches long) never-opened tube of very colorful Revell "S" cement The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape, price tags, no stains and no fading. However it is only graded 'good++' because there is moderate corner damage on the lower right as shown and a thin line of raised brown material that is very hard to see, located just under the nose wheel of the helicopter on the box top. It is also difficult to see because that area of the box is dark. Amazingly, there are no marks from the original ribbon that Revell shipped these kits with (those ribbons almost always stained the box). Inside, the HRS-1 is molded in the correct dark blue plastic and the famous clear Revell base and correct Marines decals for this issue. The A-4 is molded in the correct medium gray with very colorful Marines decals. Both models have the correct clear "Revellving" globe display stand that all "S" and "Pre-S" kits came with. The models have never been started. They are exactly as they left the factory, with all parts and paperwork still sealed in the clear factory bags.

Still factory 'round tape' sealed. Well detailed, large-scale model from 1997 that features 241 pieces, full hull, separately molded deck fittings & cannon, preformed rat lines, billowing sails and more. The San Gabriel was one of four ships in Vasco De Gama's historic journey that began on July 8th, 1497. De Gama set out from Lisbon with a fleet of four ships and a total crew of about 160. The traveled via Cape Verde, along the coast of West Africa, round the Cape of Good Hope, to India. The discovery of the sea route to India changed Europe by reforming the economy, cultural exchanges and the opening of a sea route to the Orient. The return journey was more difficult and cost the lives of several of De Gamma's men.

Rare 'picture' box variation dated 1958; note the original oval logo that includes the 'Famous Fighters' in the border. This is a very early issue because it has two decal sheets; one for Pan Am and then the stand decal, which they originally forgot to include. The 707 was one of Aurora's first airliner kits. Features detailed engines, complete landing gear, Pan Am decals and the correct large, clear 'Triangle' Globe display stand. Inventoried and NOTE: Missing clear cockpit window. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions. Please note that the box has some light age foxing as shown, if you look at the right side in the lighter areas.

Very rare original TV series kit with the interior light up option. The box has the 1966 copyright date. The forward control and crew's quarters are internally lit with four light bulbs. This kit was more complicated than the non-lit version and was not issued for very long. Oddly enough, it features the same kit number and price extension of the non-lit kit; the only difference is on the side of the box it says 'FEATURING: Upper-Lower Dome And Power Units Equipped With Operating Lights." The model includes a very large clear display stand, clear orange-tinted engine fronts, clear green-tinted upper and lower saucer center domes, light bulbs, battery holder, contacts and all wiring. All parts and instructions are correct for this rare version. This kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Decals are in 'excellent++' condition.

The Heyford was the last big biplane bomber to serve with the RAF and equipped 11 First-Line Squadrons at the time. The prototype first flew in 1930 and had many novel features such as retractable ventral turret and the wing attached to the underside of the top wing for excellent visibility. It was soon nicknamed 'Express Bomber' due to it's ability to carry a large bomb load, fly at high speeds and be rapidly re-armed, serviced and repaired. The model includes parts and decals for all three variants from 102(B) RAF Sq. 1938, No. 99 Sq 1934 and No. 7(B) Sq. 1935. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.
