Rare. From the 1950s. Strombecker was famous for this line of completely precarved kits and this one one of the flagship models. Features quality hardwood parts that needed only sanding to finish, smaller detail parts, original wood filler and CASCO glue envelopes, metal nose weight, huge plans with detailed instructions, very large, colorful and comprehensive decal sheet and a great B-24 booklet. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions/plan. NOTE: instructions/plans are a full-size photocopy of the large original. Professionally printed on large format paper, one side to one piece of paper each. Please note that the box is only fair due to the tape damage shown on the left side.

Very nicely molded and detailed model in the best Monogram tradition, featuring very fine raised panel detail, recessed control surface lines, full cockpit, pilot figure, optional position landing gear, optional full or open canopy, belly tank and working trailing edge wing landing flaps. Contains decals for USAF, RAF and AVG Flying Tigers (Chinese). The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. This legendary large-scale operating R/C model by Tamiya is highly detailed and beautifully molded. Features 360 degree servo controlled turret rotation, servo controlled gun flashing, duralumin chassis, factory assembled metal gear box and large, powerful electric motor, metal suspension, realistic forward, reverse and turning and more. Metal parts include lower hull, inner and outer drive sprockets, idler wheels, idler tension drums, idler arms, wheel shafts, suspension housing, tension shaft, torsion sway bar and dozens and dozens more.
