So rare that I can only find reference to three of these ever changing hands. Few were made and they were $125 new. This large, original kit stands over 14 inches tall when assembled. The master was sculpted by Greg Polutanovich (the famous sculpture and Hollywood makeup artist) and produced by Michael Burnett of Hollywood special effects fame. Polutanovich based this model on actual NASA photographs. This is a professionally-made, high-definition resin statue of the Apollo Astronaut with with a moon base. It does require minor assembly and full painting. The smaller parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The larger parts have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions and color decals (for Astronaut Adlrin). Never started and inventoried complete. Michael Burnett Productions (MBP) was a special makeup effects company located in North Hollywood, California. From 1985 until 2004 MBP created Special Makeup Effects, costumes and props for the entertainment industry. Please note that this kit is solid resin and is very heavy, 11 pounds packed.

Very Rare. This is one of the first three aircraft models issued by Revell back in 1953. This kit is correct with no rivets and no landing gear as well as the unique stand that was only issued with these three kits (and their gift set). This box is in excellent condition, complete with all end flaps and has not been crushed - usually these thin one-piece boxes are in very bad condition. The box has never been repaired. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Instructions are printed on the back of the box. It is very interesting to note that this kit is different from the 'Pre-S' issue in the following ways: no rivet detail, almost no panel lines, different part numbers, pilots are a part of the fuselage (busts only), one piece wings and absence of the pods at the half-wingspan line, no landing gear and no holes for such, very early 'Colortone' logo decals and a silver, two piece plastic stand of a unique design that was never used again.

The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. The Special Type 2 Launch Ka-Mi (Toku-ni-shiki uchibitei kami) was the first amphibious tank of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in WWII. However, too few were produced too late for it to have an impact. The Ka-Mi was designed, initially, to assault islands. However, by the time it entered service, the Japanese forces were already on the defensive. They were used for infantry support, sometimes as moving pillboxes. Three formed the 1st Yokosuka Special Naval Landing Force based at Saipan, while two saw action in Leyte in 1944. They were affected to various naval garrison detachments in the Southern Pacific and East Indies. The USMC encountered the Ka-Mi when assaulting the Marianna and Marshall islands, at Guam, Aitape and Biak in New Guinea, and during the invasion of Leyte. Some sources claim that, off the coast of Leyte, USMC LVTs attacked and destroyed some Ka-Mis. Two survived to this day at the Kubinka Museum and on Palau island.
