Airfix Focke-Wulf FW-190D Black Side Issue Craftmaster, 1/72, 1223-50

Still factory sealed and in investment-grade condition. This is the black-sided box variant. A well-holed and damaged FW makes a hasty power-off landing in this great box art. The emergency vehicles race down the runway ready to douse the flaming engine. The pilot has the canopy open to clear the smoke or to make a hasty exit...or both. This is the larger format box version of this kit and has black sides. The smaller box is kit #6-39. There are at least three known Craftmaster box variants with this box art - the small box one 6-89 and two kits sharing #1223-50; one has black side panels and one has white.

In rare, factory sealed mint condition. Excellent 1960s issue artwork shows a desert battle scene. This is one of three known Craftmaster Hurricane issues. This model shares the 6 digit price extension with the 'White' box, but has black box sides. There is also a 13-39 'Small Black' box in the smaller format with black sides.

SALE! 2nd issue of this kit dated 1967. Highly detailed for that time and from the same molds as the 1961 'Four Star' issue. Has many action features: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy and instructions for rigging. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal has drawn the box top concave. Great kit of the airborne vengeance weapon launcher. Markings for KG53 'Legion Condor' or KG53 'Blitz-Geschwader'. These first cruise missile launchers reached operational status and limited success in operations. Missions went well but the accuracy of the V-1 was the primary limitation.

This kit is an part of an extensive line of Austin-Craft kits produced during and immediately after World War 2.

Made as an accessory for the extensive line of Austin-Craft (and other manufacturers as well) World War 2 jeeps, 1.5 and 2.5 ton trucks, scout cars, etc. Excellent wood kit featuring all pre-cut parts, formed wire roof supports, army green fabric for optional top, detailed, fully molded black wheels, small forward balance wheel (below hitch) and full size, multi-view plan sheet. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes plans.

StromBecker Douglas D-558 Skyrocket - Bagged, G42

StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood and plastic kits. The carving is done to the final shape. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display. This one includes beautiful hardwood parts, a clear plastic canopy, full decals in 'excellent' condition as shown, sandpaper, sanding stick and photocopied instructions. The kit has never been started. It is either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried complete with all parts with decals and instructions.

Aurora Grumman F9F Panther Jet, 1/49, 22-100

Investment-grade condition box and kit. Dated 1960. This is actually a newer kit, likely from 1962-64 as it lacks the 'Famous Fighters' logo in the oval border. These molds are from one of Aurora's first two kits - the F9F and F-90. Aurora simply went out and purchased the early Hawk F9F and F-90 kits and copied them almost exactly. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Instructions and decals are in exceptional NM condition.

Hasegawa IJN Submarines I-361 and I-171 With Kaiten, 1/700, WLD095

Very highly detailed waterline small scale (1/700) model. Contains both submarines and several separately molded Kaiten. The kit has never been started. It is either still in the factory sealed bags or has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. I-361 has a very active career as a supply sub making runs to Wake Island. In May of 1945 she is outfitted with five kaiten and sent to attack Okinawa where the US invasion fleet was. After evading American forces for several days, she was sunk on May 31, 1945 by an Avenger using sonobouys and a Mark 24 "Fido" acoustic tracking torpedo. I-171 lead a very active career from Pearl Harbor, Midway and beyond. She was diverted to supply duty and was depth charged and sunk on one such mission by DD-472 USS Guest and DD-475 USS Hudson, 1 February 1944, off Buka Island.

Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Features detailed chassis and suspension, spoked wheels, complete motor and interior and a removable hood. Molded in colored, clear and chrome plated plastic with real rubber tires. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.
