Very rare first issue from 1957. This box art was used for only one year or less; then Aurora changed to the much more common 'ground' artwork. This model was a very good early effort by Aurora and features retractable landing gear, removable tail section, removable & detailed jet engine, pilot, 'fair' cockpit detail and more. Molded in the correct glossy light gray and clear plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Everything inside is correct for this issue, including the 1st issue instructions, large clear rectangular-based stand and early decal sheet correctly lacking the stand decal.

Finally! A museum-quality 1/350 scale model kit of the SS Normandie - The World's Most Beautiful Ocean Liner. This nine-year project is a 100% new kit. Seven of those years were spent accurately modeling the ship from scratch in TurboCAD. All design work was done in CAD by Ken Friend, a master modeler and engineer who specialized in CAD/CAM/CAE Systems Management and Implementation. This limited-run kit represents the Normandie from her 1935 maiden voyage to New York and has over 1,000 individual parts. The hull and larger parts are pressure-cast resin from de-aired molds. There is one very large photoetched brass sheet for railings, ladders & fine details, a set of ultra-high resolution 3D printed davits, three sheets of laser-cut, real wood printed decking, decals, flag sheet and a DVD with detailed, highly illustrated instructions including painting guide, step-by-step rigging instructions and research material. This is a previously owned kit; I sold this model years back and then purchased the buyers entire estate. The kit has never been started. This model has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions included. NOTE: this kit must be shipped insured.

Very rare and even rarer in this condition. First issue and with the one-year only rectangular logo. Dramatic Jo Kotula box art with 1956 date. The box is the finest I have seen. It has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no tape or tape marks, no tags or tag marks, no fading, and no tear or missing litho. The only flaws are the light edge and corner wear shown at the bottom right and other (even lighter) shelf wear that probably not even visible in the photo. Molded in correct silver and clear with correct rectangular clear stand. A nice kit for that time, it features full centerline landing gear and outrigger struts and gear doors as well as clear cockpit canopy, outboard slipper fuel tanks, display stand and decals. It has the correct early rectangle-base clear Aurora stand, which is also shown on the instructions. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Instructions are mint and the decals are 'near mint.' It is interesting to note that this is not a reissue of the Comet molds - the two models are not even close to the same size or scale. This kit is original to Aurora, was made before Aurora acquired the Comet molds and also varies in a great many details. It appears that Aurora never even re-issued the Comet B-52, probably because they had a superior model already in the same low price range.

This model is either from the original Tamiya molds or is a very close copy of them. Very large 1/72 scale and highly detailed. Features a factory installed motor & motor mount, universal joint, brass propeller shaft tube, metal propeller shaft, battery holders and fully wired motor and switch. Can be converted to remote control operational if you wish (R/C gear not provided). There is no assembly but NOTE: crew figures have the sink holes neatly filled. No other work has been done. Most parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the one bag that was opened has been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions. The box has water damage but the kit, instructions and decals (stickers) are excellent with no damage. Built in the 1960s, the PT-815 was one of 15 JSDF craft in use till the early 1990s.

Rare limited issue. Hardbox is dated 1965. Issued as a promotion with the famous TV show "12 O'Clock High," which centered on the exploits of USAAF B-17s flying over Hitler's Germany. Has many working features: detailed engine with removable cowling, full cockpit and retractable landing gear. Molded in gloss olive drab and clear. The kit has no assembly, but NOTE: the interior parts are painted with one thin coat of zinc chromate green. There is no other painting. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Hardbox issue from the late 1950s. This is far and away the most accurate injection molded kit of this ship in the Post-WWII early angled deck configuration. The USS Lexington took part in many WWII battles in the Pacific. She was placed in the reserve fleet, but was then modified into an angle-deck Essex like many of her sisters and recommissioned in 1955. This configuration is modeled upon the ship in late 1950s. Like all Renwal ships, the details are excellent and the moldings very fine. Includes Regulus I missiles and launchers, moving elevators, full hull, flag sheet, full color decals and an air wing with F9F-8 Cougars (wings folded and unfolded), A3D Skywarriors and Helicopters. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: one helicopter rotor blade is broken off but present for repair. A few horizontal stabilizer fins are broken off the F9F-8 Cougars but are also present for repair.
