Includes well produced and illustrated Campini Caproni paperback history book. The Campini Caproni was a early jet with a unique propulsion system. A regular piston engine turned the compressor stages. The compressed air was mixed with fuel in a combustion chamber behind the piston engine and ignited. NOTE: has minor and professional quality assembly: the seat is glued to the cockpit floor. There is no other assembly. The aircraft has been inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions. Very rare kit with the plans dated 1934. Megow carried an extensive line of unique and historical ships. This model measures 12 inches long (LOA) and features highly detailed, full-size plans with general instructions, rigging information, text instruction steps, excellent pre-carved hardwood hull (not balsa), two sheets of quality balsa printwood, hardwood mast and gun barrel stock, sandpaper and a full color insignia sheet. The kit has never been started and is complete with all parts and plans in 'good++' condition.

Early Monogram model dated 1955. The box is in excellent condition with brilliant, like new color and gloss. This is the third issue of this kit since it has 'PA6-98' and 'The Name For Quality Hobby Kits' in the box top logo (the second issue has 'Four Star Plastikit' in the logo). The actual release for this kit is probably between 1961 and 1966. Although created to 'box scale' (1/67 in this case), this model was very popular and remained a good seller well into the 1970s. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

The Do-X was a famous trans-Atlantic German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in ocean liner-like luxury. A tour of South and North American was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP.

This kit duplicates the classic Sopwith Camel using many of the original material in a near perfect representation of the inner structure of the aircraft. There are 1,198 parts made from die-cut plywood, Japanese cypress, cast soft metal, brass, aluminum, rubber, injection molded plastic and many other materials. The wingspan is 1067mm (42 inches) when assembled. The engineering of the kit is world-class right down to the assembly plans. Inside the kit has never been started. All parts are still sealed in the factory parts bags. Includes all plans, decals, instructions and paperwork. Rare kit from 1965. This is a very highly detailed and well engineered model for that time. It features an engine that is made up of 29 parts, a complete frame assembly, complex rear suspension with separate upper and lower A frame and arms, backing plates, brake discs, shocks, drive axles, wheel brackets & rear stabilizer bar. The front suspension has separate wheel spindles, upper and lower A frames and shocks with stabilizer bar. The front compartment includes the battery, fuel tank, firewall, full spare tire and well. Includes a complete interior, the front trunk opens forward as it should, and the rear tilts back accurately with a detailed hinge and pivot set-up. Molded in dark glossy gray, chrome, black and clear and with real rubber tires. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'near mint' quality subassembly as follows: block halves and small drive valves are assembled (4 pieces); transmission halves assembled (2 pieces); clutch pieces assembled (2 pieces). Only these 8 small parts are built; there is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all pieces, instructions and 'excellent+' condition decals present.

In the 'Golden Age of Aviation Modeling' (1930s and '40s), most modelers built the flying 'stick and tissue' type kits with rubber, CO2 or gas power. But there were a small but measurable percent that built solid aircraft display models of great detail. This required great skill worthy of the shipbuilders of old, especially considering the limited technology. Many manufacturer's kits consisted of blocks of wood and a plan - the famous (or infamous) 'Make Wood Look Like Plane' kits. A few, like Dyna-Model Products Company, attempted to provide true-scale static models with a high level of detail. Today Dyna-Models are legendary and sought after collectibles. When you first open the kit, you see a black and white cardstock display with all the needed jigs and templates for assembly. Underneath, the fuselage is rough carved to ~95% of final shape (not just profile cut) and all other parts are either profile (2D) or die cut. Includes color decals, full size high-quality plans and the crowning jewel, a box of finished metal castings for super detailing your aircraft. The model has not been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts and plans.

Rare. From the 1930s through the 1950s Strombecker produced the world's finest highly prefabricated hardwood model kits. The B-29 is one of Strombecker's flagship models. Features completely carved to final shape fuselage, wings with airfoil, four engine nacelles, tail feathers, turrets, gun sighting blisters, wing flaps and more, four plastic propellers, tricycle landing gear with all gear doors, weighted nose, a very large, full color extensive decal sheet and sealed envelopes of glue & wood filler. Includes the excellent, large format detailed instructions and even the detailed B-29 booklet. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, nose weight. Otherwise includes all other parts and paperwork. The decals were once stuck to the instructions so there are a few small areas where instruction paper is still stuck to the decals. I would grade the decals as 'good.'

Before plastic kits were introduced, Strombecker was famous as the premier manufacture of highly prefabricated hardwood models. All through the 1930s to the 1950s, Strombecker kits were flawlessly engineered but not inexpensive. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display model with an 11 inch wingspan. All wooden hardwood parts are completely precarved; usually only a quick sanding would finish them. The P-61 is one of the rarest of the WWII Strombeckers and features fuselage, wings, booms and tail feathers completely carved to the final shape, plastic propellers & detail parts, full landing gear, extensive color decals in amazing 'Excellent+' condition, glue and wood filler in sealed envelopes and sandpaper. Includes excellent large-format step-by-step instructions and numerous illustrations. Never started and complete. Even includes the mail order form for the official Strombecker badge.
