Lindberg Sea Raider (Q-Ship - Decoy Ship) (AK-101 USS ATIK), 1/390, 731-69

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: NM

$225

Very rare hardbox issue from the late 1950s. Classic kit with Ray Gaedke artwork. This is the Lindberg Q Ship, which has an unknown prototype but is suppose to be a WWI style Q-Ship submarine trap. The ship appears to be a WWI British Q Ship by the title, yet looks a little modern and has US numbers of 171, which apparently mean nothing. The Lindberg model actually has the layout of the AK-101 USS ATIK, which was formerly the SS-CAROLYN, built in 1912. The CAROLYN was recommissioned as the USS ATIK and at the start of WWI which was a real US Q-ship. The box is in fantastic 'near mint' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and very little wear. This kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Lindberg Dornier Do-17Z Flying Pencil, 1/72, 577-100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

$22

1967 hardbox issue with artwork by Bojanowski. Nicely done kit for the time with fine raised details, crew of four, optional position landing gear and clear display stand. The kit has never been started. Inventoried with all plastic parts and instructions. NOTE: half of the Lindberg decals are missing, so I have also included most of a Frog Do-17Z decal sheet which includes substitutes for the missing Lindberg decals, as well as swastikas. Also the instructions are photocopies. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. Lindberg F-86D Sabre Jet Fighter - with First Logo, 1/48, 522-98

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG++

$115

Very rare first Lindberg issue with the 'script' logo. From the 1950s with dramatic Ray Gaedke artwork. Molded in high gloss silver and clear. Includes script logo decals and early 'rectangle' instructions which was common. The box was originally numbered 522-79 and has been over-stamped with a factory '98' for the price. Lindberg always used up any old stock and never seemed to waste any boxes, parts, decals or instructions. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box shows better than VG++, but I have graded it as such because there are tears from the factory tape on the long sides. Lindberg Convair 880 TWA Jetliner, 1/189, 452-49

$65

Still factory sealed. Rare late 1950s issue. This is the only issue with the classic Ray Gaedke box artwork. Has very fine raised panel detail and can be built wheels up or down. Includes full TWA decals. The box would grade better than 'sealed vg' but the side panels have creasing.

Lindberg Douglas F4D-1 Skyray, 1/48, 523-98

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair

$29

1950s issue with fantastic Ray Gaedke artwork. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: box is only 'fair' because it has something stuck to it on the left side as shown.
