Late 1950s or early 1960s model that is very well detailed and measures 10 inches (about 25 cm) long when assembled. It is correctly designed to be disassembled and re-assembled over and over again. Features a clear green-tinted upper and lower body halves and legs, Lily Pad display base, all internal organs with each molded separately, plastic tweezers, detailed text and illustrated instructions with a paint guide for each piece, a full color 15" x 3.5" diagram illustrating the life cycle of a frog from egg to adult and even an excellent four page booklet about the Leopard Frog. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes all paperwork and instructions. The the late 50s and early 1960s, plastic model manufactures were tempted to make plastic kits of educational subjects for public schools; the dissecting frog was a obvious choice. However, big sales to the schools never developed. At least we collectors got some excellent kits out of the deal!

This was fine effort for that time by Aurora and features cockpit seats and instrument panels, pilot figure, clear windshields, two ground crew and a base with wheel chocks. Molded in a wonderful gloss yellow and black. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Even includes the original Aurora packing tissue paper.

This is the rarest of the three Blue Box issues as 1967 was when Monogram was transitioning part numbers and for a short time (about one year), they listed both part styles of part number on all the boxes. For example, this model has the old 'PA74' and the future '6800' part numbers on both short side panels. This kit is part of a very famous World War II action kit line that Monogram issued in 1/48 scale. Very nicely molded kit. Rare Japan issue from 1980 and an excellent model for that time featuring interior detail for all three stations, crew members, optional position canopies, rotating wheels and propeller, optional bomb or torpedo configurations, folded or unfolded wings and more. I ncludes the colorful high visibility pre-war markings shown on the box art or Navy wartime gray. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: decal backing paper (not the transfers) was once stuck to the instructions. The actual transfers have no damage, just the backing paper. There is some damage to the instructions where they were torn off. Only the Torpedo 8 painting guide is significantly affected by the tear.

With paint guide and decals for 'Jerk's Natural' and 'Fightin' Sam.' NOTE: this kit has minor and neat subassembly as follows: seats #53 to seat supports #54.
