Hard-to-find 198s issue from quality Airfix molds. The box art mistakenly calls this a destroyer, but it is the famous light cruiser from the famous Battle of River Plate with the Graf Spee. (Furthermore, MPC calls the heavy Cruiser HMS Suffolk a "Battle Cruiser.") The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The box displays better than the 'very good' grade but is ranked as such because the small panel with with the 'Golden Opportunity' tokens (on the side) has been neatly cut away.

Very rare first issue. This is an extraordinary model with two outstanding features. First, it is molded in an amazing gold metallic exactly like the box top and second, includes a 'Best Of Show' display stand that slowly rotates for four hours on rubber band power alone. This beautiful automatic turntable even comes with metal ball bearings and factory grease, as well as the original rubber band. The kit is highly detailed and features complete engine and engine compartment, opening hood, detailed underside, superb interior with folding front seats, clear gauge lenses and more. Molded in gloss metallic dark gold, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays slightly better than the 'good' rating but is graded as such due to a small hole right at the lower left corner as shown and some bug damage to the litho just below that.

Very rare original hardbox issue from 1959/1960 and a well molded kit for that time. Features detailed engine, opening hood, good engine compartment detail, full interior, molded in underside detail and more. Molded in ivory white, clear, red-tint clear, chrome and with black rubber whitewall tires, metal axles and metal body screws The model has never been started. Inventoried and the stock version is complete and includes photocopied instructions. NOTE: missing the following custom parts: fin, scoop, fender mirrors & spot lights and missing decals and the original instructions. Scale Model Products (SMP) was a major competitor to AMT during the late 1950s. SMP started the 'Annual' craze in 1958. However, AMT bought SMP around 1960/1961. AMT liked the SMP logo more than their own, and substituted their letters into it. It is not known exactly who invented the '3 In 1' kit, but many credit it to SMP.

This kit represents the early B-66 which is not that far removed externally from the original Navy A-3 Bomber and still retains the tail stinger. Never started. Dated 1977 and the only injection molded kit of the Lear 25. When Testors acquired the IMC molds for the Lear 24, they extensively modified them to make the more recent Model 25. Features full passenger cabin interior and cockpit, opening top and lower doors, removable engine cowls & detailed engine tops (the visible part), detailed avionics bay with removable hatch showing and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing rear cabin bulkhead (easily made but cannot be seen once the kit is assembled) and all cabin windows (cockpit windows are present). Inventoried with all other parts present including decals and instructions.
