Still factory sealed. This is the very rare 1950s first issue with the original Airfix logo. The factory header is in 'very good' condition and is still factory stapled shut to the original plastic parts bag. Like most small scale Airfix ships, this one is very nicely molded and features a full hull, display stand, ratlines and more. Measures just over 6 inches in length when built. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857.

Still factory sealed. Wild 'Snap-Tite' action kit from 1978. Motorized action spins the prop, flaps the wings and the machine guns 'fire' by moving forwards and backwards. Furthermore, all of this action makes the airplane bounce around on a sprung wire stand. Comical 'Air Farce' and 'Recycled Pollution' stickers are included. Comes with electric motor and all motorizing hardware. Thanks to sound engineering from Monogram, this kit works flawlessly when built correctly.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good++
$219
Very, very rare first issue. And even rarer in this condition - never built and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Features all parts for the three versions, detailed engine and compartment, opening hood, full interior, molded underside detail and more. Molded in ivory, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires and metal axles. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: there are very small and light tire burns on the left front fender; very easy to fix since they are in a perfectly smooth area and so slight. There are also burns on the optional rally underpans, one seat (near the edges) and the edges of two ivory plastic rims (not bad, do not interfere with assembly). Instructions are 'very good.' The decals have minor bug damage restricted to the backing paper only and the actual transfers have no damage.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good-
$165
Very rare original issue from late 1961/62. This model features parts to build any one of the three versions listed, full interior, opening hood, detailed engine, engine compartment with firewall, battery, radiator and washer jar and molded underside detail. Molded in a gloss light gray, chrome plate, clear, red tinted clear and with rubber white sidewall tires, metal axles and metal body screws. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all car parts 100% complete and photocopied instructions. NOTE: missing decals and the original instructions. These photocopied instructions are from a photo and not the originals; they are perfect for doing an inventory of the kit or building the model, but the original source photos was only 'good+'. The box displays slightly better than the 'good-' grade but is rated as such because there is more bug damage to the litho on the sides than the top.
