Rare and beautifully cast in high-definition resin with all fine recessed panel lines, cockpit, counter-rotating propellers, optional position landing gear and full decal. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The XP-72 was the first fighter designed around the 28 cylinder Wasp Major engine. Two prototypes were built and a production order for 100 aircraft was placed. However, requirements were changing quickly at this time in the war and the order was canceled.

Includes the Airmodel kit number 80 conversion that makes this into the "A" variant with different engines and different front fuselage. The actual kit builds a civil or military trainer of the aircraft which was used in Czechoslovakia after WWII. Basically, this aircraft is a copy of the Siebel Si-204D. Includes decals for two variants - Czech Air Force or Civil Ceskoslovenske Aerolinie. The kit has never been started. Inventoried with all aircraft parts complete including decals and instructions, but NOTE: missing display stand.

Still factory sealed and dated 1979. When Monogram bought the Aurora molds in the mid 1970s, they reissued the kits that were the most accurate. Since Aurora had reworked the molds on the DVII, this was one that was chosen. Monogram further improved the molds so this builds up to a very nice model.

1970s issue from the original high-quality Pyro molds. The Monitor is 10 inches long and the Merrimac is 11 inches long when built. The kits have never been started. Both have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes instructions. The Monitor and Merrimac are the two American Civil War ships that spelled the end of the wooden ship age. In March of 1862, the Merrimac put to sea to raise the Union Blockade off the St. James. There she sank the Cumberland and Congress. The Monitor, the Union's only ironclad and the first turret ship, was rushed to the scene. The epic battle between the two iron-clad ships ended in a draw, with the Merrimac suffering a little more damage than the Monitor. The Merrimac was blown up to avoid capture; the Monitor sank in a gale in 1862.
