From the late 1950s. This was Cessna's only helicopter design and was once considered as a transport to quickly resupply remote Hawk SAM launchers. Very nicely detailed model features full cockpit and interior, pilot and co-pilot figures, opening cabin doors, missile loader figure and Hawk Missiles with cradles. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. This is the SNAP issue from the original Hawk molds. When Adams exited the model kit business, Athearn (of HO train fame) was actually the first to be interested in some of the molds. SNAP was the marketing arm of Athearn for these kits which also included Winnie the Whale and more.

Only nine fighters and one transport version were built. The fighters excelled in long range reconnaissance rolls and escorting convoys. They served until Italy's capitulation. The sole transport was used as a personal aircraft for the Italian Military Representative in Berlin.

The P1106 was a jet-powered one-seat fighter for very high speeds (possibly supersonic). It was intended to replace the Me P1101 which had already been under construction in 1945. The P1101 served as the basis for the P1106. By rearranging different assembles and changing some geometry better flight performance could be obtained. However, Messerschmidt favored other jet designs because of the very high wing pressure and pilot visibility. Never started.
