SALE! 2nd issue of this kit dated 1967. Highly detailed for that time and from the same molds as the 1961 'Four Star' issue. Has many action features: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy and instructions for rigging. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Model features operating dive brakes, trigger released center bomb, retracting/extending landing gear, rear machine gun elevates and rotates. Also includes figures of the pilot, gunner, armorer, LSO (landing signal officer), 4 bombs, bomb cart, and LSO wind screen. Molded in blue, black and clear plastic. Never started. The 3rd issue from the original 'Four Star' molds. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels and props, three man crew, optional position door and two survivors in life rafts. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

Rare 1950s hardbox first issue in excellent condition. Features superb Ray Gaedke artwork. Box has like-new color and gloss, four solid, original corners, no tape or tape marks and no creases. The flaws are edge wear as shown, general light wear and a very small 15 x 11 millimeter price tag litho tear on one end panel. Kit includes external bomb load and centerline fuel tank, pilot with seat and display stand. Molded in dark gloss blue and clear and has Fleet Air Arm decals. The kit has never been started. From the 1960s. Action-packed artwork shows a British fighter in a hot gun battle with the main Do-217, which is receiving major damage. Another Do-217 released it's bomb load, while the starboard wing on another snaps away in flames as the crew hits the silk. Kit features crew stations and a crew of four, elevating gun and rotating turret, separately molded ailerons, elevators and rudders, optional position landing gear (or even retractable undercarriage but not doors), choice of aft fuselage 'long' tail cone containing the early dive brake or 'short' tail cone after the dive brake was discontinued.
