Very rare kit from 1941 that measures 18 inches long when assembled and depicts the 'Showboat' in as-launched configuration. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped pressed-wood hull in solid, "near mint" condition, four sheets of cleanly done printwood, wood and bamboo stock in many shapes and sizes and a factory-sealed wax paper envelope of fittings. Includes excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous detail views of the ships details and superstructure. Never started. This model is exactly as it left the factory; all of the original factory tissue packing paper is intact and the plans have never even been opened. The fittings are still factory sealed; the rest of the kit has been inventoried complete.

Out of production. This is a large 1/48 scale, quality model cast in high definition resin model with detailed cockpit, optional position canopy, fully enclosed wheel wells, complete landing gear and a full color decal sheet. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Northrop M2-F3 was one of five experimental "lifting bodies" developed by NASA during the 1960s and 1970s to determine the characteristics necessary for controlled, non-powered descent from orbit. First flown at Edwards Air Force Base on June 2, 1970, the M2-F3 replaced the M2-F2, which had crashed in May 1967. Actual footage of the crash was seen weekly in the prologue to ABC's "The Six Million Dollar Man." This updated version exhibited far greater lateral stability. In all, the M2-F3 made 27 test flights before being retired in 1972.

Still factory sealed and dated 1978. When Monogram purchased the Aurora molds, they only modified and reissued the best ones - the Saratoga was in the group. This large model measures 21 inches long when assembled and has a full hull with four propellers and rudder, detailed islands, separately molded AA armament and gun directors and more. The modification the Monogram made was to cut completely new molds for a beautiful and extensive airwing of (12) F-4 Phantoms, (9) A-4 Skyhawks, (6) Vigilantes, (3) Trackers and (3) helicopter with separately molded blades.

Rare. This is a limited edition model finely cast in high definition resin. Features all fine recessed surface detail, very good cockpit and crew station detail, a clear vacuform canopy (in perfect condition and not yellowed) and more. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. In 1936 the RLM issued a requirement for a warship-launched hydroplane to replace the rather antiquated designs currently in use. The FW-62 and Ar-196 were chosen for the competition and prototypes were built of each. While the AR-196 won the competition, the FW-62 was chosen as the back-up in case the Arado was discontinued.
