Rare 1954 issue. The box is in 'Excellent++' condition with factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading, tears, creases or missing litho, no price tags or marks from them and no tape or marks from tape (other than the factory sealing tape). The only things keeping it from being graded higher are edge wear on the very bottom of the long lower side and a very, very light stain on the lower part of the upper long side. Inside the model is molded in the correct gloss sliver and clear. It has never been started. All the parts are inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. The decals are flat, fully intact and have almost zero yellowing but NOTE: there is some age micro-cracking. The box art shows Superfortress tail number 294106, a B-29A-30-MN that was built at Renton, WA.

Includes a factory-sealed HGW Models #132513 Albatros D.V/D.Va Seatbelts super detail set. It consists of laser-cut micro-fibre fabric, PE buckles & latches and a resin seat part. The actual kit is out of production. Amazingly well detailed and certainly the finest plastic D-Va kit available. NOTE: this kit has been started. Tree 'F' and 'A' have been very neatly airbrushed primed light gray. There is no other painting. Seat parts #11 and #12 are assembled. Step 1 (three cockpit bulkheads, (2) D12 rods and and (1) plate) is assembled, but it has come apart. Parts D12 are rods used to hold the three bulkhead together; these rods are broken. It would be best to replace them with brass or metal rods. The engine is 95% assembled. The only part not installed is the intake manifold subassembly (which is 2 pieces). There is no other assembly. Inventoried and the model is 100% complete with all parts, decals and paperwork present.
