The kit features fan-jet engines, optional position landing gear and passenger doors and moving rudder and wheels. The box is badly bug damaged, but the kit inside is still sealed in the factory bag. Includes colorful American Airlines decals and full instructions in vg++ condition.

Still factory sealed. 1969 issue. The Yorktown was one of three prewar sister carriers along with Enterprise (CV-6) and Hornet (CV-8). The Yorktown saw extensive action in the Coral Sea, the first sea battle in which opposing forces did not sight each other from warships. At Midway she fought alongside Enterprise and Hornet to help sink 4 Japanese carriers, but was lost after the battle after an epic struggle to save the ship. Very nicely molded model. Features internal hangar deck that is visible through side hangar doors after assembly, 20 Douglas SBD Dauntless airwing with decals (well molded with raised panel lines and propellers), 20" long full hull, movable cranes, separately molded AA guns and catwalks and optional position elevators. The box art shows the prewar high-vis finish, and decals are included for prewar markings for the ship and aircraft.

Fantastic kit with 134 parts and a Combat Crew of 5. Kit has almost all the moving features of the real weapon. The Skysweeper was a 45 round-per-minute that was teamed with the Nike Ajax in the late 1950s/early 1960s to defend America against Soviet Attack. The gun system was radar controlled and fully mobile. It could be set up on any terrain and ready to fire in 2 minutes. The unit was considered very advanced and complex at the time; it took army maintenance crews 37 weeks each to train on the system at Aberdeen. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid metal. Kit features opening unique rotating bomb bay, folding wings and working arresting hook.

Bagged kit - Box is not included and is shown for reference only. Very rare kit of the unusual Mach 2+ ramjet/turbojet design. Solido produced a small line of plastic kits in the early 1960s but by 1967 all production ended. Very cleanly molded and large 1/54 scale kit in sliver, black, clear and red plastic. Decals and instructions are excellent. NOTE: the kit has minor assembly. The two engine 1/2s have been neatly assembled. Quality of assembly is excellent with no gaps and no glue showing. There is no other assembly. The kit is missing the stand and red missile - otherwise it is complete with all other parts, decals and instructions. Shipping insurance is required with this kit. The Griffon was dual propulsion like the Leduc 022; a turbojet was used for takeoff and got the airplane to speed, where the ramjet took over. The Griffon performed well, reaching a top speed of Mach 2.19 in 1958. However, there were difficulties with the ramjet design. The program was canceled in favor of the Mirage family of fighters by Dassault.

Three RWD-6 aircraft were built in 1932 for International competition. The aircraft won in their class, and it was the first international aerospace win for Poland. Kit includes decals for two aircraft, SP-AHL and SP-AHN that few in the competition. Finely molded kit with very good detail. Features full cockpit, optional parts for BIS or RWD-6 variants and a large comprehensive decal sheet. This kit has never been started. Rare 1966 hardbox kit. Very large 1/87 scale (2 feet long) and detailed kit of a classic commercial whaler. Molded in correct dark wood, black, tan, ivory and white. Features billowing sails, metal anchor chains, running and standing rigging, molded ratlines and display stand. This model was one of a small series of large scale sailing ships made by Aurora to appeal to the serious ship modeler. The kit has not been started. All parts are still sealed in the original factory bags. Complete with instructions and decals.
