As with most all early Revell sailing ship models, this one is highly detailed and finely molded. Please read carefully as this kit has some assembly. Very rare 1958 'S' issue. Features two missiles with removable boosters, swiveling and elevating launcher and crew. NOTE: this kit has assembly. One of the missiles, the four launcher side rails halves, center rail support and four side rail support rods have been assembled. There is no other assembly and no parts have been painted. Decals have not been used. Quality of assembly is slightly above average. There are minimal gaps and very little but not excessive)visible glue - mainly on the flat top and bottom of the large launch rails. All parts are present. The original decal sheet and instructions are intact and excellent. The box would grade much higher than 'Good-', but there are tape tears on the sides.

1969 hardbox issue. In the late 1960s/early 1970s, Aurora realized that it needed to produce new and better kits if they were to stay in business. Several helicopters, aircraft and ships were released with markedly improved mold quality from the older kits. The HH-3 is one of those kits. The result is a very nice scale kit with fine molded detail. Never started. Factory sealed box/bag or 100% inventoried with all parts decals and instructions present. NOTE: one engine inlet is a lighter green. It is correct for the Aurora Jolly Green, but is from a later issue.
Revell Wright Cyclone Engine (ex-Monogram), 1/12, 8881

1991 issue of the famous Monogram Four Star Model from the late 1950s. The Cyclone was very dependable and powered numerous famous aircraft, the DC-3 and B-17 being just a few. Very highly detailed. Molded in three colors as the original and has all the same working features: movable prop, extra parts to show cutaway working piston and tilting test stand. The kit has never been started. The parts that Revell sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried and are missing the following: one engine stand lockpin (#65), one engine stand bushing (#65) and two (#36) piston halves. The piston halves are not visible unless you use the optional cut away cylinder, and the bushing and pin can be made from stock materials. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions present. Mold swapping between Revell and Monogram started soon after the same European holding company bought them both.

First issue of this all time classic. Hardbox is dated 1961. Widely considered to be one of the best visible airplane action kits ever made. Features a full cut away model with interior detail. Buttons on the base activate two motors that make the prop spin, and the main gear and tail wheel retract and extend. Two other levers on the base drop the wing bombs. Inside, this kit is in mint condition. All of the special presentation cardboard is as new and the two motors are still sealed. The kit is molded in the correct first edition shades of clear, red, black, silver and zinc chromate green. The kit has never been started and is inventoried complete with all parts present. Instructions and decals are correct for the first issue and feature the 'Horse' stand decal.

Features metal, plated and plastic parts, movable whitewall tires, chain and handlebars, rotating pedals and revolving crankshaft, detailed reflectors, decals and streamers, realistic tail light and Jet-Liner front lamp, spring action comfort saddle seat and operating kickstand. The model is still internally sealed in styrofoam - it has never been removed.
