Very rare 1950s issue. Features clear turrets and canopy, rotating propellers & wheel, paint guide and decals for Lancaster WPF or VNN. Includes the correct large format display stand and glue capsule. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in amazing 'excellent++' condition. NOTE: as is typical with these kits, the glue capsule burst and melted one short section of of one lower landing strut. While all four propeller are present, one propeller blade was melted completely away. I have included another early black plastic propeller that has only slightly larger blades; it could be used to fabricate a replacement blade if you wish. The box is 100% complete and solid with four original corners, no tears, missing litho, price tags or tape (other than age marks from the original factory sealing tape). However, it has been darkened as shown.

Very rare kit from 1941 that measures 18.5 inches long when assembled. This well designed model even includes partial hanger deck sections where they are most visible from the port and starboard sides; even the rear elevator has a well, so it can be displayed up or down. Issued shortly before the war, the model was not reissued after the war since the Wasp was lost off Guadalcanal by what is likely the most successful submarine torpedo salvo in the history of warfare. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped wood-material hull in excellent, solid and straight condition, 5 sheets of cleanly done printwood (two are bristol board as thick as balsa but stronger), fully formed funnel, wood stock in many shapes and sizes, a fittings packet with four propellers & two anchors and two factory sealed packs of Casco Glue. Features excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous detail view of the ships substructure and a detailed view of the hanger deck, flight deck with pre-war markings and island. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and paperwork present.

Modern reissue of the very rare Comet Akron Funk. this is a stick-and-tissue flying model that features printed and precut parts, rubber strip, select balsa strips, balsa propeller, lightweigh tissue, fully formed wooden thrust bearing and wheels, metal propeller shaft/rubber hook and full size plans. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions. Scale Flight Model Company in Bloomington, Indiana, USA was dedicated to releasing authentic reproductions of the finest "Dime Scale" and larger flying model (stick and tissue) kits from the 1930s/40s.

Nicely done early kit from Frog molds and marketed by Air Lines in the USA. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, decals and instructions. Air Lines manufacturing history: The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.

Still factory sealed. The FF-1 was not only Grumman's first fighter, but was the first production fighter with retractable gear, all metal construction and fully enclosed cockpit. Twenty seven were produced, and this aircraft led to the famous line of Grumman Biplanes and Monoplanes...F3F, F4F, F6F, etc. They also saw service as trainers in Canada and even in the Spanish Civil War on the Republican side. This is a high quality plastic kit that includes photoetched details and full decals.

1960s 3rd style logo issue of this famous kit. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857. The kit is the large scale Airfix Japan issue; it is well detailed and features full hull, complete deck fittings, ships boats, preformed rat lines (realistic and scale Revell type), detailed paddle wheels, billowing sails, color flag sheet and much more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

1960s type Three logo issue. The amazing Duck first flew in 1934, saw service all through WWII and was not phased out until the mid 1950s. This is a very nicely molded and detailed model that features markings for both aircraft, under-wing bomb load, optional position canopy, interior with crew members, lower cabin for passengers, optional position landing gear and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box is heavily worn but the decals and instructions are both in 'excellent' condition.

Unusual kit of the early Scharnhorst with the 'straight' bow. This was before her modification with the 'Atlantic' bow. This well molded and detailed full hull model is from 1978 and features propeller and rudder detail, separately molded main, secondary and AA armaments, fully detailed superstructure, ships boats, two catapults, Arado Ar-196 float planes and much more. There is no assembly but NOTE: there is minor and neat painting as follows: (1) anchor, small upper deck #132 and (2) gun directors #52 and 53. There is no other painting. SALE! Includes both model kits in the one box shown. From the late 1960s/early 1970s. Macon & Akron: this is a very good model of the famous 'aircraft carriers of the sky' and contains parts and decals to build either airship. The Sparrowhawk aircraft hangar door is molded separately if you wish to super detail the hangar bay. The Hindenburg model is from the same time frame and is considered a fine representation of this tragic zeppelin. The Akron/Macon is never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes 'excellent' decals and instructions. For the Hindenburg, it has been inventoried 100% complete with all zeppelin parts and has 'excellent' decals and instructions but NOTE: this kit has 'professional' grade subassembly as follows: (2) hull halves; (3) display stand parts (hull not glued to display stand).
