1988 issue. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. Still factory sealed. 1973 'White Box' issue and possibly the best kit ever injection molded of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Excellent detail and includes rigging material and instructions. Also features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight.

1991 issue of the famous two-seat strike aircraft. Well detailed and molded for that time and features conformal fuel tanks, detailed landing gear and wheel wells, four AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, two 1000 lb bombs, eight 500 lb bombs and 30mm gun pod. Decals are for a Desert Storm aircraft. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

1982 issue. White the box is in rough condition, the kit parts inside are in perfect condition. Molded in orange, clear, chrome plate (in near mint condition) and with rubber tires. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: decal backing paper has bug damage, but the actual transfers have no bug damage. The instructions have bug damage but are fine for assembly purposes.

NOTE: bagged kit; there is no box. The box is shown for reference only. When Monogram acquired the Aurora molds, they only reissued the most accurate kits and usually did heavy mold modifications to bring them up to Monogram standards. In this case, the hull halves were detailed with fine, realistic panel lines and other details; the sail had any unrealistic detail removed as well as the raised outline for the numbers and where Aurora had only one periscope/sensor on the sail, Monogram correctly added two more for a total of three. It also features moving diving planes on the hull & conning tower, removable hatch revealing bulkheads and reactor detail and more. Includes a display stand. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1967 issue that is harder to find than even the 'Four Star' early issue. This kit is from the original molds and features rotating propellers, side gun packs and cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, underwing rockets and boarding ladder. Molded in gloss silver and clear and still has the "Sh-Boom" early issue style decals. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the instructions are from the first issue of this kit and are only 'good'. The decals are flat and correct for this issue but have significant lifting.

Monogram's second issue dated 1996; the molds were purchased from Aurora in the mid/late 1970s. Aurora had originally released this kit as a promotion with the 1966 TV series 'The Invaders'. Original issue 4-Star kit from 1961. The box is in 'excellent' condition with like new color and gloss and four solid corners. The kit is very highly detailed and has a unique, operating landing gear system. When you pull the propeller outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Now rotate the propeller CW and the gear extends. Push the propeller in, and it freewheels as normal. Other features include movable control surfaces, detailed cockpit, sliding canopy, rigging material and instructions for rigging. Molded in red, yellow, silver and clear plastic. The original internal yellow cardboard presentation material is present and in excellent condition. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat and intact with only slight age yellowing but NOTE: they have typical age microcracking.

Features 87 pieces, all three correctly separating stages to demonstrate a simulated flight, opening top doors to reveal the removable scale escape tower, Lunar Lander, command module and re-entry capsule, correct engine detail for all stages, three figures and launch pad stand. Molded in white, silver and with a yellow base. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.
