1997 reissue from the original 1958 molds and even has the original box art. Very highly detailed model that features moving launch arms, opening doors, sliding ladders, rotating wheels, rubber tires, moving fins and a launch crew of three. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags; the few parts (white plastic) that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Detailed kit of one of the first Advanced Early Warning radar aircraft for the Navy. Features detailed interior, landing gear, wing mounted fuel tanks and 65 parts to builds one of three versions: Marines VMC-1 from the Korean War, British Royal Navy 849 Sq and US Navy VC-11 from the Korean War. US versions are from 1950 (Korean War) and Royal Navy version is Squadron 849, 1956.

Includes decals for HIRYU December 7, 1941, 12th Naval Flying Group China 1940-41 and Cmdr Fuchida's aircraft on AKAGI in the Indian Ocean 1942. NOTE: this kit has very minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: one seat glued to cockpit floor. There is no other assembly. P.1101/I and /II were Messerschmitt's entry into the Emergency Fighter Competition. This program was initiated when the Luftwaffe saw they had no counter to massed formations of B-29s, which they knew would arrive if the war did not end soon.

Starting life as simply an improved P-38, the design requirements changed from single engine pursuit to double seat attacker, then to bomber, and finally as bomber destroyer. This an other issues created a 4 year development, and by then there was no need for a piston-engined bomber destroyer. Top speed was 436 MPH with 2 Allison V-3420-11/13 Turbocharged engine. Very highly detailed resin kit. Still internally sealed. Complete with decals and instructions.

Large scale kit of the destroyer that was named after the 5 brothers - George, Frank, Joseph, Madison and Albert Sullivan - who died when the USS Juneau was sunk in the Battle of Savo Island off Guadalcanal.
