Early issue dated 1977. Contains the desirable full color Diorama Sheet and instructions. Excellent detail inside and out. Features full interior, optional position bomb bay with bomb load, rotating turrets and elevating guns, optional position crew hatch, and rotating props. NOTE: one part has been glued - a seat to the side of the fuselage interior. There is visible glue, but the part cannot be seen when the kit is assembled. There is no other assembly. The kit has been inventoried complete with all parts, excellent decals and instructions. NOTE: one prop shaft is another color plastic - it is from a later issue of this same kit.

NOTE: builder kit only, please read below. Rare 1966 hardbox issue. Very large 1/118 scale kit is over two feet long when assembled and is a very detailed model for that time. Features full hull, display stand, metal chain, detailed deck fittings, pre-formed rat lines, billowing sails, blocks and detailed rigging diagrams. Molded in correct dark wood, black, tan, and ivory/white. Features full hull, display stand, detailed deck fittings, billowing sails, metal anchor chains, running and standing rigging, molded ratlines and display stand. This model was one of a small series of large scale sailing ships made by Aurora to appeal to the serious ship modeler. NOTE: this kit has minor assembly. Several eyebolts have been glued to the deck. There is no other assembly. NOTE: about a dozen parts have been painted. This includes one hull half below the waterline only, the other hull half fully painted, both main decks and the deck hatches/skylights. There is no other painting. Much of the paint is neat and can be painted over. Some will need a light sanding before painting. You may wish to strip it with DOT3 brake fluid, spray oven clear or any other safe, tested plastic paint stripper. NOTE: missing one #65 davit. Easily made using the other davits as a pattern. Inventoried with all other parts, three types of rigging material, decals, flag sheet and instructions present.

Still factory sealed but the seal has splits. 1980 Type Four 'enlongated' logo issue. Features moving rudder, elevator and ailerons, cockpit detail and torpedo load-out. The SM-79 was considered an excellent aircraft and one of the best land based torpedo bombers of the war. Designed and serving as an airliner from 1934 onward, 100 were supplied to the Nationalist Air Force for the Spanish Civil War where they served as day and night bombers. The aircraft performed well in the Med and against Malta, sinking many allied ships.

Full hull kit contains complete deck fittings, preformed scale ratlines, vacuform billowing sails, flag sheet, rigging instructions and more. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing 3 short hull-mounted cannon barrels and one gun port. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, flag sheets, rat lines and instructions. NOTE: one hull is cracked and will need to be repaired. The two sides fit together very neatly so the repair is straight-forward. The Victory was started in 1759 and launched in 1765 for the Royal Navy. She gained fame as the flagship for Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. The HMS Victory is the oldest naval ship still in commission, and is a museum ship in drydock at Portsmouth, United Kingdom.

From the 1950s. With an unusually nice 'very good+' box with great color. Nicely done kit for the time. Molded in dark blue plastic. The limited first issue is the same part number and in the same box but has no rivet detail on the aircraft. The second issue (this one) does have rivet detail. Has very colorful decals for this unusual and beautiful aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Strombecker was very well known for producing the finest pre-carved hardwood aircraft and missile kits, but they had a very short journey into the plastic model field. After making the Sea Dart kit in 1956, they added four more for a total of 5 injection molded aircraft kits. All were discontinued in the mid 1960s. The Sea Dart was a supersonic design that could take off and land from water using retractable hydro-skis. Five prototypes were built and over 300 test flights made. The advent of the super carrier spelled the end of the Sea Dart, although 4 still exist on display today.
