Revell PB4Y-1 US Navy Patrol Bomber - (B-24), 1/72, H205-200

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc-

$52

Nice model of the Navy B-24. Has many action features: landing gear retracts and extends, control surfaces move, guns elevate and turrets rotate, wheels and props spin, flaps extend/retract, 4 crew and has optional position side gunner's position (open or closed). Monogram Lockheed P-38L / P-38M / P-38J / F-5 Lightning - Four Star Issue, 1/48, PA97-200

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Exc++

$74

Very rare. This kit is still factory sealed on the inside as a special display for experiment. On bigger kits (B-52, Phantom Huey and Mustang, etc), Monogram would seal the parts in clear with the lower box, then leave the box top unsealed so that potential buyers could see the kit 'insides' before purchasing. I did not know they did it with smaller kits and this is the first one I have seen. It is not a reseal as the cello is of the old heavy type and brittle. Please note the Uncle Bill's Hobby Shop (Cleveland, Ohio) price tag on the box top and the purchase date of 9-6-1966. First issue hardbox copyright dated 1964. Very highly detailed and well molded kit. Builds any of four versions including 2-Seat Night Fighter, day fighter, 'Droop Snoot' with bomber nose and F5 photo recon version.

Monogram De Havilland Mosquito - N.F.II / Mk.IV / F.B.VI / II Night Intruder Four Star Issue, 1/48, PA129-200

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Mint

$75

Still factory sealed; the seal has a few small splits. Investment-grade first issue 'Four Star' kit. Hardbox is dated 1965 and features Tom Morgan artwork. The original owner opened the kit but left the original cello on the box top, resulting in a rare mint condition box. Builds any one of four versions: NF II Night Fighter, Mk IB Bomber, Mk VI Fighter Bomber and MkII Night Intruder. Classic excellent Monogram detail.
